Starmer kicking and screaming clutching a bag of Lord Alli's freebies will be turfed out and replaced by wtf' Lammy' as the country descends into migrant hotel wars and Tommy Robinson' is made a knight of the realm 🤔

I thought AI was going to replace everyone? So why import more people? And how many Grab delivery drivers does the UK actually need?

I don't think many of the immigrants have the education, training or language skills for most of those jobs. Doctors and teachers can be done by AI.

  • Absolute nonsense. We have nearly 2 million unemployed, we don't need more losers and sex pests coming over on dinghys claiming benefits and lording it up in free hotels while stalking the local kids

If Farage and Reform ever became the government, how would they deal with the unemployed in the UK at present? As of December there are 1.68 million unemployed claiming benefits, young people ( 16-24) form a large part of that number, 729,000.

Farage's policies-

  1. The "Two-Strike" Rule: All jobseekers and individuals deemed "fit to work" must find employment within four months. After rejecting two job offers or failing to find work within this timeframe, their benefits would be withdrawn entirely.

  2. Possible abolishment of the minimum wage to 'encourage more flexibility in hiring young people.

  3. Raising the income tax threshold to £20,000 p.a. to make work 'pay' as opposed to staying on benefits.

Potential problems- it's not that difficult to not get offered a job. Turn up at the interview, chew gum, swear and look surly.

Regarding failing to find work, there are plenty of places where there are far more applicants than jobs.

For example:

  • Bradford: Reported the highest ratio in the country, with over 9 job seekers for every 1 job.

  • Birmingham: A major hotspot with more than 5 job seekers per vacancy.

  • Luton: High job seeker-to-job ratio (over 5:1).

  • Middlesbrough & Rochdale: Both recorded high ratios (over 4.5:1).

  • London Boroughs: Specifically Newham (8.7% unemployment) and East Ham (17.8%).

So is Farage going to stop benefits for the 8 out of 9 that can't find a job in Bradford, for example?

The prisons will be overflowing as robberies escalate.

And what rate of pay are these young people going to receive? With the threat of benefits stopped and no minimum wage, an applicant would be forced to take any wage, 50 pence an hour for example.

The UK becomes Third World.

I think the government has to think further out of the box.

No1- there must be minimum pay- no slave labour.

Cutting off benefits when there are no jobs is cruel and unfair. What the government should do is create the jobs- a New Deal as it were.

The unemployed should be moved to these jobs, created in new industrial estates where they live in comfortable conditions in dormitories for at least six months.

Training must be given in trades such as building, care workers, the service industry,

They are prisoners in effect unable to leave the premises, but they are treated well.

The unemployed have to get into the mindset that work can be rewarding: make new friends, experience new things, make more money.

For youngsters today it's too easy to sit at home, cruising the internet all day, but the government can't just cut of their benefits when there is no work, they have to give them opportunities, tough love as it were!

Back to the topic, the UK is still going to need migrant workers even if they can cut the native unemployment figures, for the birth rate of UK citizens is too low to sustain the population or to support the ageing population living into their 70s and 80s.

Or perhaps Farage will have a solution for this- no more NHS, everyone must pay for their own healthcare and for those that can't, well a new bill encouraging euthanasia may be introduced!
