Uk Visit With Passport To Expire In Feb 08

Featured Replies

GF has multi-entry visitors visa which expires end of Nov 07. Passport expires mid Feb 08. Have already done one trip, want to do another trip from mid Sept for a month. Will the fact that the passport expires five months rather than six months after commencement of trip cause any problems?

Not with the UK authorities, but I can't speak for either the Thai immigration service or the check-in staff.

Scouse.

I did try to get the passport office in Central Bang Na to extend the passport but they told her to come back in Feb and get a new passport (maybe biometric upgrade?) , neither the GF or the surly woman at Bang Na could get their head around the possible problem. Anway, thanks for clearing up the UK end, will have a chat with some airline agents to see if there is a problem this end.
