TrumpRx, the website launched by the Trump administration Thursday to sell discounted prescription drugs directly to consumers, is offering a whole lot less than advertised.

The drugs offered on the site are all from brand-name manufacturers, making them more expensive than generic brands. Almost all of the drugs are also covered through insurance already.

Which medicines advertised have a Generic equivalent? Wegovy for example?

Are you aware that only a few drugs are listed at this time?

As explained in the article linked in the OP, the Trump prescription drugs scam website is not offering prescriptions at lower prices and therefore by definition not proving completion in the drug discord market.

Trumprx does not reduce prices for consumers. It's the MSRP with trump getting a kickback obviously.

And yes, I've used both goodrx and Cuban's costplusdrugs. Costplusdrugs is mail order and goodrx gives you good prices at existing drug stores, so for transient me goodrx is a better match

Perhaps some of his supporters are starting to realize that the man never cared about them, he never had any intention to make their quality of life better, he is bought and paid for by major corporations and lobbyists, and the possibility of him supporting anything that would make consumer prices lower is incomprehensible and nearly impossible to believe. His corporate overlords simply would not allow it.

Calling it "a scam" seems like more fake news from the opposition who wants to see Trump get hit by a bus. Scam is not an appropriate word to use.

I just did a quick search.

Cost of Ovidrel on TrumpRx site is 84$ and claims to be 67% off.

AI confirms that the market value for Ovidrel is 107 to 305$, so there are indeed discounted prices through TrumpRx.

But one issue is that it's only for people who don't have insurance, I think ?? There are some problems. It's not an ideal system ... but not a scam either.

Also, keep in mind that the site may change over time. ie to possibly include more drugs ....

The word "scam" appears to be another attempt to smear Trump's name.
