Job Growth Last Year Was Far Worse Than We Thought. Here’s Why.

So you think that the ratio is more significant, or as significant or nearly as significant as the total number of jobs even though the Biden total was 1.5 million and the 180,000 under Trump. What kind of reception do you think such an absurd comparison would draw from the 1,320,000 more people who found work during 2024?

And why do you even think that the comparison is significant at all?

Just fyi , I checked and changed/edited my number to 20%.

The ratio is not necessarily more significant but it is just as relevant. I input that stat as it had not been considered by our friend - rather ignored - it is only an 'absurd' comparison to the ignorant. Much of the high job number in 2024 was produced by the last period of recovery/rebound from the Covid era. The work was not found but just returned, after being lost to the pandemic for a while.

No wonder they tried to put a lid on the jobs report. They've also successfully killed Gallup presidential polls after almost 90 years. I wonder why? ❓

Compared to Trump just adding 181,000 jobs in 2025. That's 12% of what Biden created in 2024. Despite four rate cuts by the Fed.

Your post is just a common and predictable kind of behaviour from the right.

Nah. Just better thought out.

No. By 2023, that number had been exceeded.

What does the phrase recover/rebound mean? It seems you're trying to call growth rebound as opposed to calling it...well...growth.

Here's an interesting graph. If health service jobs are excluded, jobs were lost for a total of 9 months in 2025

But still 20% better than Biden by the actual versus expected ratio by year.

No sense of perspective from you, as usual.

Making up metrics, now? 😁

Wasting your time posting irrelevant comparisons......

The job situation worsened under Trump, by all metrics:

  • Job creation number

  • Unemployment rate

  • Native born unemployment rate

  • Labor participation rate

No it did not. Trump reduced it to 3.5%. The situation got worse under Biden when Trump took over.

Trump had the best figures in 50 years lol

The big Don is making America less relevant, less powerful, less influential and less successful by the day.

Donald Trump, making America a lesser version of itself and diminishing its influence seems to be his primary task. In addition to destroying the dollar and confidence in the dollar worldwide, losing hundreds of thousands of farm jobs, not bringing any manufacturing jobs back to the US, and destroying tens of thousands of small businesses, while creating massive chaos.

Good job Don. Your work is almost done. Xi and Putin send their thanks.
