Trumps making a lot of Iranian friends recently. I notice they're not chanting biden era "death to America" now. The world loves Trump as do most, EXCEPT for the haters-losers. Must truly suck deeply

I point out you how many ways the American government has restricted trade with Cuba and you claim the "bloqueo" is irrelevant. It is to laugh.

Have you ever been to Cuba? What you ignore is that the whole world with the exception of the USA trades with Cuba and the real limit is not the "bloqueo", but the lack of competitive internationally tradable products offered by Cuba.

These are some examples.

Iberostar has a significant presence in Cuba, operating around 18 four- and five-star hotels across key destinations like Varadero, Havana, Holguín, and Cayo Cruz operated by the Cuban Armed Forces typically in JV with Spanish companies.

Cubanacan operates a major chain of hotels, resorts, and villas across Cuba (e.g., Brisas Santa Lucia, Club Amigo Ancon, Hotel Copacabana), usually in JV with Canadian companies.

In 2021, Cuba and Mexico created the joint venture IncuBio S.A., located in the Mariel Special Development Zone. The Mexican firm Industrial Expomayab invested in Flexocaribe, a joint venture focused on producing flexible packaging for food and cosmetic products in Cuba. Diageo and Corporación Cuba Ron SA formed a joint venture to distribute Santiago de Cuba rum internationally.

Cubana de Aviación, the national airline of Cuba, has operated French-German Airbus aircrafts, specifically the A320 and A330 families, since the mid-1990s to support international routes.

Air carriers from all ove the world fly to Cuba: American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, Air Canada, Air Transat, WestJet, Iberia, Air France, Air Europa, Turkish Airlines, Swiss Air, World2Fly, Iberojet, Copa Airlines (Panama), VivaAerobus (Mexico), Aeromexico (Mexico), Conviasa (Venezuela), InterCaribbean Airways, Sky High Aviation Services, etc..

As most American you believe that the world upholds American laws. That's laughable. Each sovereign country has its own rules. Even Airbus, which sells tons of aircrafts in the USA, can trade with Cuba. And yet, Cuba can't feed its people that are emigrating in scores.

Takeaways from the war on Iran:

Elect a clown, expect a circus. The s**t show continues and the muppets in the administration are running around in rings contradicting each other.😂

What we've been hearing from the administration so far is neatly listed below.

Look at these two clowns. One of them chose to be one, the other one didn't have a choice. Unfortunately, they're both secretaries in an American administration that's gone rogue.

You obviously don't have a clue about Israel.

Takeaways from the war on Iran:

Keep Bad Grandpa away from the microphones unless you want him to fill his diapers, literally and figuratively. Mentions the dead American soldiers, but quickly pivots to the golden curtains he himself picked out.

He actually fought ... killed enemies with his bare hands.

And his brother died in combat.

Trump helps to kill 30 terrorists and you don't care except to troll.

A true hero really. Nothing like internet trolls who hate him.

It's been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that America is definitely NOT number one.

And 7th of October, 2023 happened on his watch. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it turned out he let it happen.

Trump has bigger balls than the guys before and smarter too. Nailed the bad guy in 1 day. Bin Laden was killed almost 10 years after 9/11.

That's exactly my point. Cigars are the only competitive product Cuba currently has to offer. And not because of the "bloqueo".

Most of those are also NOT Cuban but Dominican

There was a long NY Times article that said the downfall/capture of Maduro in Venezuela started last August when CIA finally got someone inside the Maduro inner circle so that CIA knew for certain where he was and where he was gonna be.

Seems to me that the reason the Ayatollah and all the inner circle was sitting nonchalantly in their HQ was because maybe some CIA 'asset' was giving them the false info that Israel was not planning or preparing for an imminent attack.

Troll post removed.

@khaosokman final warning - 10. You will not post troll messages. Trolling is the act of purposefully antagonising forum members by posting controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages with the primary intent of provoking other members into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

It seems the Iranians thought they were safe from attack for a short while since there were actual negotiations going on between them and the Americans.

Of course, that move not only took out the Iranians the Americans had pegged and the new leaders, but it also assured that the US will never be trusted by anyone in future negotiation of a similar nature.

No, you're not any longer. You squandered the right to call yourself good guys during your ethnic cleansing campaign in Gaza.

You're wanted war criminal, and you belong in jail, together with Trump.

Senator Warner almost saying it outright. AIPAC is deciding if the US goes to war or not.

More on this here from WaPo. Again, the actions of the Israelis dictate what the US is doing.

I tried to find some evidence on the internet that Cuban doctors are subpar but I really couldn't find anything. Most of the evaluations say they're very good.

As for the "don't you dare" nonsense, may be you had better better direct that prohibition at yourself.

Well it certainly true that the Cuban economy would not function well under the present dispensation. To deny that the massive blockade from the US has not had a deleterious effect on its economy is plainly nuts. Just compounded by the fact that the US makes it difficult for other nations to trade with Cuba as well.

To conclude, don't you dare claim that 2 + 2 = 4.

Cuban doctors are quite good the problem is there is no medicine in Cuba, and they don't even have Band-Aids or aspirins, and it's been that way for the past 25 years.

I've seen this firsthand as I used to travel to Cuba often, I have many Cuban friends, and have been there many, many times.

The blowback from this Iran campaign is going to be severe, Israel's going to pay a huge price for it, and the question is not only will it survive, but what form of a nation will it be if it does survive?

Of course the same thing can be said about America under the fascist leader.

Nobody does counter insurgent ops better than the USA & Israel. Gang of 8 was briefed.

GOP leaders like Mike approve. Dem's who sympathize with IRAN ,the usual approach .

"After a classified briefing, House Speaker Mike Johnson says the administration faced a “very difficult decision” and insists acting preemptively prevented greater U.S. casualties".

Who told you this would last for years ? Nobody, you made it up

Now, just like always, I'll ask for sources and just like always, you'll throw out some juvenile jab and not answer the questions.
It how you work

Wrong yet again. This is not only a problem this is a massive calamity.

  • America’s military is built for the wrong kind of war. The United States has optimized its defense industry for short, high-tech conflicts using precision weapons, but current global wars require sustained, large-scale production of conventional munitions. This has resulted in a dangerous industrial shortfall where America cannot produce enough basic ammunition like artillery shells and missiles to meet the demands of even two simultaneous regional wars.

  • Technological superiority can’t replace techno-industrial capacity. The United States has dangerously over-relied on the assumption that its advanced technology can substitute for material superiority. Recent wars demonstrate that even the most advanced weapons are useless without the techno-industrial capacity to produce them in massive quantities, which is a lesson history has repeatedly taught, as seen with Germany’s defeat in World War II due to an inability to match Allied production.

  • Solving the problem will take time and a shift in thinking. The United States is starting to address its techno-industrial shortcomings by increasing funding and production goals, but rebuilding supply chains, reopening factories, and training a new workforce will take years, not months. Truly fixing the issue requires a fundamental change in military philosophy, moving beyond a focus on cutting-edge, low-volume systems to embrace the strategic importance of mass production and stockpiling conventional munitions.

Forgot to mention only the most trusted of the gang of 8 were told, none of which included democrat's. Speaker Mike Johnson won't be calling the House to vote on the War powers Act.

google ai overview:

"The Iran strikes were launched without prior formal approval or authorization from Congress, including the GOP members of the Gang of Eight. While Republican leadership was notified shortly before the attack, the action did not receive, nor did it require, a formal vote of approval from them to proceed".

Some are, some are not. For example, Cohibas are exclusively made in Cuba, unless counterfeited. Romeo y Julieta sold in Thailand are both made in Cuba by Habanos S.A., or made mostly in the Dominican Republic by Altadis U.S.A.

Below the link to the Cohiba importer in Thailand.

Ah, so Biden and Obama appeased authoritarian regimes.......but not Trump. I see.

Not going to waste my team writing a list of all the despots Trump has appeased as you won't read it or reply. The most willfully blind person on this entire forum.

What did the Russian militia in Ukraine use to take down that Malaysian airliner? Was it a hand held SAM?
