Mossad Hacked Tehran traffic Cameras For Years Before Strike

Israeli intelligence operatives reportedly infiltrated Tehran’s vast traffic camera network years before the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, using the system to monitor his movements, bodyguards and inner circle in extraordinary detail.

According to reports, Mossad gained access to most of the capital’s surveillance cameras — technology originally deployed by the regime to track dissidents and enforce control.

The feeds allegedly allowed Israel to track which security personnel were assigned to Khamenei, where they lived, their routines and even where they parked when arriving at his compound on Pasteur Street.

Years Of Preparation

Images were said to be transmitted back to Israel, giving analysts what one intelligence source described as near-intimate familiarity with Tehran’s security patterns.

“We knew Tehran like we know Jerusalem,” an Israeli official told the Financial Times.

The operation reportedly combined hacked surveillance feeds, mobile network disruption and human intelligence. The Central Intelligence Agency is said to have had a source on the ground providing critical confirmation of Khamenei’s location.

Israeli AI systems were also deployed to analyse vast quantities of leadership movement data.

Phones Silenced, Jets Launched

When Khamenei’s location was confirmed on Saturday morning, Israeli forces allegedly disrupted nearby mobile towers, preventing calls from reaching security teams.

Jets travelling from Israeli bases struck the compound with up to 30 precision munitions. Khamenei’s body was later recovered from the rubble.

Senior Iranian security figures, including Rear Adm. Ali Shamkhani and IRGC commander Maj. Gen. Mohammad Pakpour, were also reported killed, along with members of the Supreme Leader’s family.

Region Erupts

Iran has since retaliated with strikes across Gulf states including Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, as the conflict spreads beyond its original theatre.

President Donald Trump warned that the “big one” is still coming, estimating the conflict could last “four weeks or so” and refusing to rule out deploying US ground forces.

With embassies shuttered, airspace restricted and regional powers exchanging fire, the intelligence coup that felled Iran’s leader has now ignited a far wider war.

Whether you agree with the Israel/USA war against Iran or not, credit where credit is due. Mossad rocks.
