Your graph show down 1.12% / 1.28% / 1.15%,

1.67% in one month ... you obviously aren't in the markets, or you'd realize how irrelevant that is. Now who's cherry picking.

Are you really that ignorant or just pretend to be.

The 3 market quotes are movement of TODAY.

One month it's down 6.82%

I'm a little confused, isn't this the man who from every pulpit that he could find, promised to tackle inflation and bring prices down for the average American? His supporters are mysteriously silent

You are really that dumb? Markets go up and down each month. 6% is stuff all.

Myself ... Market expert, not sure about that, but I did retire at 45/46 yr old, due to my savvy market investing. Not long term, holding them, but day trading high risk speculative stocks & options.

You retired because you don't like to work and are a freeloader.

I recall you once posted you had more than THIRTY jobs during your working life in the US, and now live on a 20K baht monthly budget with 2 adults.

Everyone can retire like that

Yeah sure Sparktrader we know you are the expert. When you gonna start again flooding the forum with thousands of graphs?

Again, irrelevant. Nobody in the market cares about a 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or even a 1 year change in the market, up or down. Long term investors are in the market ...

THEY ARE HAPPY ....

Who likes to work, so yea, I retired.

I did work for the airlines, 4 different ones, 3 going bankrupt, so a total of 17 yrs of airline employment. Last airlines, for13+ years, I did make my own work schedule for ~8 of those years.

Jobs only supplemented my self employments, so I didn't keep them long. I pay myself much better than employers.

Need to read the updated monthly budget, more like 30k a month +/-, and don't forget the dog + 2 adults. Of course that's not my monthly income, just what we spend.

Not sure how that is relevant to anything. How am I a freeloader ? I earned everything I have. Actually, it was all kind of easy. Firm believer of work smarter, not harder.

You really have no idea how the market works. Fear, doom & gloom, and the inexperienced idiots sells when the market is down, only to be bought, by the smart & experienced, who probably, made the market crash.

Aside from the scams, the market does an adjustment every 5 or 10 years, as get overpriced in bull market.

Look at my long term graph about, it's not a steady line up. It's got dips in it, some deep.

Once you know the scam, you can make a sh!t load of money.

Good I hope it crashes. Stocks are too high. PE is 28. Below 24 is cheap again. A further fall of 15% is needed for stocks to be cheap.

I know very well how stagflation works, and I'm sure you also do, since most likely you were still in the US during the Seventies.

Good luck to the Americans that voted for Trump, as their houses and cars will be on the market soon.

It is his life. None of your business. I doubt you are rich given your ignorant remarks about markets. The US market is overpriced. A bear market is normal when valuations are high. There is always a trigger.

American inflation, unemployment is low. GDP is high. You're a Brit who hates America. Starmer has net approval of minus 50 and worse economic data.

Actually never heard that term before.

How old do you think I am, I'm only 71.

I was in high school during the 70's. Class of 1973, and just missed the draft. Move to TH in 2000. Didn't invest in the stock market till 1996/97 (?). Hopped in during the Y2K scam.

The DOW was over 50K before the war started, and what has the Thai baht exchange rate of the day to do with the value of the USD?

This is incorrect. The last time the DOW closed at 50,000 was on February 11, 2026, just weeks before the war started.

1970s stagflation was caused by a 300% oil price rise. Unlikely to happen this year.

No just thinking of reasons. People who love their work don't want to retire.

Hahaha, they have already risen by 60% in about a week, and it has only just started.

$13 below the daily high. The market does not agree with you.

So they admit they ATTACKED oil storage, but at the same time claim they have no plans?

Oh wait, they let the Jew war criminal do the attacks, so they could claim they didn't know.

You are full of BS, troll (sorry, Susan). I loved my work and profession. I started work at 15 and retired at 70 I worked all those years without holidays. What have you done apart from sitting on AN and changed your username because you got banned?

Traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has ground to a virtual halt, unleashing the most severe energy crisis since the 1970s and threatening the global economy

In the weeks before the latest attacks, a certain degree of complacency had taken hold in global oil markets. Gulf oil producers were reassured by U.S. officials that retaliatory attacks on their soil, if they were to happen, would likely be limited to U.S. bases, according to Arab Gulf officials. Iran wouldn’t go after their energy infrastructure or attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz, they were told. After all, the chokepoint had remained open during last June’s Israeli-U.S. 12-day bombing of Iran.

This is bizarre. As even I noted elsewhere, and I'm far from alone in this, that if Iran was faced with an existential threat, it would make sense to go after oil and gas production of its neighbors.. And now that Trump has made it absolutely clear that nothing less than unconditional surrender will do, continuing with this strategy is their only hope.

According to the article you'll see that even if Iran were to surrender today, there will still be long term consequences. Once shut down, oil fields and LNG liquefaction plants can't start producing immediately, It can take weeks to get them going. And oil fields can suffer permanent damage once they're shut in. So their flow will be less on resumption.

And it isn't just oil and gas that's affected. Much of the world's fertilizer is also manufactured in this region. So world agriculture will take a hit as well.

Why are you so distraught?

Isn't fossil fuel bad for global warming and the environment? Don't you want the the world to stop using fossil fuels?

Perhaps this will result in a reduction of emissions by two of the world's worst polluters; India and China. I would expect you to be delighted, not crying torrents of crocodile tears. The Stop Oil people are happy.
