Provinces or municipalities ? Not much at PKK municipality for most folks. Definitely have to self entertain. Don't even have a lot of AC'd restaurants. Zip for adult nightlife, even for Thais. Or any nightlife for that matter.

If you got health issues, better be able to hold on for about 1.5 hrs, if having an episode, as closest trauma center is 100 kms away. A cardiologist visits once a month, or so I was told.

Good if you like reading books surfside, or watching Thai ghost or soap operas at the cineplex. No tall buildings for a reason, don't even have a flying club here 🙄

Depends on input. Cheap gyms, clean beaches and natural environment. If I add more things I get Hua Hin, Lamai and Rawai.

Pkk has 3 gyms. One at Ao Manao 60 baht, one in town 50 baht and one northern part never been. The Ao Manao one is good but 4pm to 8pm only. The one in town is 10am to 10pm.

Bang Saphan Yai has 2 gyms that look big but not been. I will go next time. Bang Saphan Noi only has a muay thai gym with little weights. Chumphon has several good looking gyms and a 10 baht rust gym under a roof.
