As usual you are posting a load of tosh!

Where have I ever referred to @SAFETY FIRST in any post by name, never mind stating that the poster is a so-called friend?

PS: I am sorry @SAFETY FIRST that your name has been dragged into this totally pointless interjection by the troll I am responding to for the last time!

Thank you and good riddance.

You might ask yourself why you wrote to me in the first place. You had and have nothing on-topic to share. You just interjected yourself into someone else's conversation. i would say that you are the Troll. You literally posted to start an argument. Yet another weirdo lacking self awareness.

    Nope, love living here.

I’m more curious where you live that’s so flawless. A utopia, is it? No drunks, no dodgy headlines, no locals behaving badly… just everyone sipping herbal tea and filing their taxes early?

Why do you have such a compulsion to post dispiriting content on this forum. That’s the question you should be asking.

I did NOT write to you!

I responded to a "public post" you made!

It is not a conversation, private or otherwise!

This is what "public" forums are designed for!

If you do not want any responses to your "public" posts I suggest you restrict yourself to Private Messages or just not join PUBLIC Forums!

Not only are you not a man of your word, but it seems that you do not understand the meaning of the words you copied from me.

Please show me, if you can, where I interjected in any conversation that you were having with someone else.

Of course it was the other way around.

It seems that mental illness and forms of delusion are rife amongst certain members..

Don't try playing the victim because your attempt to Troll me failed and you fell flat on your face.

Tell me...what exactly was the answer that I might have given in order to make you happy?

No, you selectively edited one of my posts and involved yourself, disingenuously, into a conversation with another.

Part of what I wrote to @SAFETY FIRST was:

All this projection you enact here nearly every day, pretending that none of it applies to you, even though you are in the thick of it.

You cut and pasted this part:

you enact here nearly every day, pretending that none of it applies to you,

and then wrote:

You seem to be describing yourself IMO!

IMHO, the behaviour of an absolute moron and rule breaking too.

For that, you expected a positive reply from me? What is wrong with you?

You are appear 'challenged' in some way. I would thank you to stop further wasting my time with your particular form of idiocy.

It's patently obvious that you are operating in a limited capacity...

You attempted to Troll me, fell flat on your face and then starting crying as if you were a victim.

So many nasty, disrespectful foreigners arriving.

I'm seeing the changes from the lovely Thai's. We are no longer treated like kings, the Thai's are retaliating, no longer do I see the warmth and hospitality from the past 😔

Are you surprised?

Is that "battery Capacity" you are referring to?

If not, then what are you trying to say?

I do not see the relevance of that, yet another, idiotic and pointless post from you!

Of course you wouldn't...you're somewhat limited.

So...what triggered you? Are you another one of those perverts in Pattaya?

Okay, everybody have their thing! Got it

I do not live in Pattaya, but I would not be embarrassed to live there.

I live in Bangkok, but if I were retired and single, and wanted to stay in Thailand, I would certainly consider it.

I would certainly want live there than out in the sticks somewhere,

Yes, agree.

I'm going up country soon, Roi Et and Nakhon Sawan. Lots of really nice foreigners there.

If you need foreigners around you, buy a round the world air ticket.

Thailand ain't for you.🙃🙃

All news in negative ... if it bleeds, it leads

Valid point, the OP posts nothing but negativity about TH, since he's too poor to live here, (lots of envy) and is a bit telling in itself. Can't even afford to live in home country (Germany ?), and goes to socialist Canada for public assistance, along with having wife working in his retirement.

Why is he even posting about TH, along with so many that don't live or visit regularly. If you haven't been here in over 5 yrs, or visit yearly, you haven't got a clue.

Along with so many, have only been to touristy BKK, CM, Patts, Patong, Samui. Certainly don't represent most of TH.

Tourist areas don't represent TH. Like saying USA is like NYC everywhere, or Los Angeles & Honolulu.

Some of the comparisons folks make about TH and other countries are absurd. Not taking into consideration the different lifestyles in different areas; touristy, metro, semi rural, rural areas.

I live near the lake in one of the beautiful condos. I could also show you a view of the CN Tower from my condo. Would you like to see that?

Here's outside

And inside

... sorry it took a bit of time, I was looking for appropriate writing device

30sqm condos are very rare in canada? What are you doing now, coping? Do you also give money to your dog like Khunla?

Yea ... perfect setting for me, and had everything I need, wanted. That was a great house, though a bit too much ground, 2 rai to take care of. Walking or short cycle to huge lake (upper right). Quite enjoyed living there. 400+m² under roof, pool, nice landscaped yard with little waterfall.

Couldn't live in a box condo, with neighbors, as that would be a prison to me. Nor a congested city or suburb. Definitely not cold weather.

Semi rural TH or USA would suit me fine.

Like living where I'm at now even better. Again, I can walk to, or short cycle to the surf. Smaller, no maintenance house, only 130+m² w/ Greenhouse, garden, and 3 more lots, to play with. All paid for, from selling the house & 4 lots pictured above. That house above was paid partly be selling the 1st house. I've lived here for 25+ yrs, basically rent / mortgage free. Same as I did in the USA ...

... Work smarter, not harder.

You're my hero, I can only dream of having the wealth required to live in a shoebox with a pure-bread Chinese wife!

Do you have any market tips?

You dropped cash on something you can't actually own, smack in the middle of literal nowhere. Calling it "the perfect setting" is master level coping and it sounds like your better half sold you on this dream and you’re still paying the mortgage on the delusion.

My wife.... again literally owns a 3 storey house in Bangkok that is probably worth more than this middle of nowhere shack and is actually sellable.

Yes. Keep up with your monthly rent a wife payments

The average condo price in Toronto has dropped anywhere from 14 to 20 percent since 2022.

Yes I am aware. Thanks for the reminder. Not ideal, but I will keep it until I die. It has been paid off since my late 30s.

I also own a small one in Hamilton
