Drummond has convinced himself the women working in the bars are trafficked and/or underage, that's where he goes wrong

The case is about under aged prostitution. not that women working in bars are generally trafficked. (Some are) in this case a Brit and two Thai cashiers working for Flowers have been jailed for 21 years

I met my wife of 25 years in a bar on Beach Road Pattaya. She was 45 yo then and we're still together. The reason she went to a bar was her husband died when he was 33 yo ( motor bike ) She lived by h

I think a bar manager and Flowers wife (the owner) were convicted, sounds like the manager decided to employ an underage girl

Bar managers have no power in Flowers bars. Or rather had no power. They have all been terminated. All they were there to do is cadge drinks off punters and recommend the girls. They have all been fired now. Flowers says thwe experiment was not a success. Actually it was. But the manager of the Flirt bar (jailed for 21 years) is also doing consecutive time for working illegally - against labour laws - while on an education visa issued by the Rage Fight Acadamy - owner Flowers wife.

That's a bit misleading, she employed a female who used a false ID anc claimed to be older than she actually was . There's a big difference.

That is totally misleading and nowhere in the trial transcripts. Its Flowers' public version. This later changed to a Christian charity set me up. But he did call the victim a 'whoe who had slept with hundeds of men.'

T, but the 21 year old bar manager on a student visa got serious jail time is telling.

The bar (Flirt) manager arrested was Willam Bilton, He was 33yrs old.

the fact that the owner did not get arrested

Punnipa flowers was arrested and sentenced to 3yr's jail for operating an unregistered sex bussiness.

I meant Flowers.

Someone explained that he put the business in the wife's name.

But also, money and connections go a long way. And they don't want to kill the cash cow. This guy is generating a fortune with his empire. Much better for everyone to scapegoat people lower in the company.

Also a few Thais got nabbed. And if I was in his position, I would wonder if I had made some enemies, including the wife.

Yes, she was the registered owner.

I joined yesterday because Andrew Drummond asked me to. I mentioned that already (post deleted by mod)He is banned. Are you saying he is not banned or the reason he is banned is different. If it was for providing a link to this site why is the original poster allowed to a post to AI slop?

So you being a proxy, with only second hand information (although you obviously think you know everything ) just adds to the silliness of this thread. .IMHO of course.

The law is the law.

Bars are not allowed to hire underage girls. No one cares what a reporter thinks.

Drummond is a secondary figure. He was just reporting.

But it was the anti-trafickking organization that found out there was an underage girl working there.

Also ... the fact that the owner did not get arrested, but the 21 year old bar manager on a student visa got serious jail time is telling. The owner probably paid off some important people large sums due to his wealth and status got off the hook. And a young nobody bar manager took the hit.

Cautionary tale for young bar managers, in my opinion. They are easier to blame as they have no money, power or influence and the bar owner continues to run the bar and keep the money flowing. No one wants to see the cash cow disappear.

Everything I say will be backed up by documents, videos, and Flowers own utterances.

why is it so important the get the facts straight on a forum full of nobodies?

the situation has gone to court, hasn't it?

and the courts and thai authorities have all the facts?

so why obsess over details on here or anywhere else online?

it's not like anybody who enjoys frequenting Soi 6 will stop going.

Trolling posts and unsupported allegation removed.

You have taken my post from yesterday completely out of context.

An entertainment business is always in the name of the license holder, which only can be a a Thai.

Why you keep defending flowers? Oh wait, you are the resident baiting troll here

You obviously don't know the definition of sex trafficking, or maybe just ignore it because you like it.

Sex Trafficking

Sex trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery in which individuals perform commercial sex through the use of force, fraud, or coercion. Minors under the age of 18 engaging in commercial sex are considered to be victims of human trafficking, regardless of the use of force, fraud, or coercion.

That was not what i described as spot on, as you well know. (The bar manager was 31 time of his arrest in March/Aril 2024 so he should be 32 now.) What was spot on was his whole post - so he made an error on the age of the bar manager. No big deal.

Weird definition you use, are you a bible basher?

Gemini's definition is better

I am not defending anyone.

Just trying to understand what happened.

I don't have a horse in the race and I don't care much either way about the bar owners or about the integrity of the other guy's reporting.

It's not a definition I use, it is available on the web, and not from AI either.

Your definition says exactly the same, it only leaves out what you don't want to hear, because you enjoy it.

And no I'm not a bible basher, just waiting for you to come up with the, you must be obese aergument now

Been pro-active in the BKK and PTY nightlife a lot between 2010-2017, I have seen enough to know almost all is true that he wrote or writes about, in fact it is not even 25% of all that happens. It is way worse in reality, many things even Drummond can't speak freely about.

You talk things involving 1M+ baht a month bribes. Anyone that would claim him to be a liar is in on this for sure. Half of sukhumvit or pattaya or phuket nightlife would not even have existed without all this dark money.

It was that wild that even FBI is told to back off or not able to arrest and extradite FBI wanted americans lol.

The real definition and interpretation of the law is much more complicated than that. This also depends on the country and nationality of the person(s) involved.

You chose a definition which suits you for some strange reason, I'm not sure you being obese is relevant
