How come you never referred also to the 'under-aged girl offer?'

Because unless something is proven in court, it's just he said she said.

Anybody could make anything up, including Howell and including Drummond.

OK, so I'm a very old forum member - one of the first way back in 2003. I personally know Andrew from many years ago, and he is an 'old-skool' professional journalist, with many awards to his name. I

Yeah, but this is turning into an extension of a court case on here.

Why are you so desperate to turn this forum into a court hearing?

I don't want to get involved in this. Do I look like a lawyer?

If the fake journalist did not write the article exposing the USA diplomat, then why did he discuss why he did it online more than once? He scrubbed that and other embarassing articles from the archives on his site. His justification was strangley similar to the comments given on here by his 'defender'. If Drummond was such a fair seeker after truth and the facts, then why was he banned from almost every Thai forum over the years, in some cases several times?

<removed> The story about the US diplomat is false for one reason alone. It is not a story to say a diplomat went into a bar in Bangkok. Drummond has not wiped anything. He has simply not been banned from every Thai forum . (removed)

It was more than a man going into a bar he had a sneaky photo of him in an ASFO hat and implied the man was taking people round the bars on unpaid sex tours and that he was indulging in group sex with multiple girls, all lies. He had to lie, because as you say, a man in a bar was not a story.

He was banned from Mango Sauce, T Door, Nanaplaza, Nanapong and I believe Thailand -UK sites.

Depends on the court, See what is happening to the US Justice system at the moment, Froggy, What journalists write, especially investgative journalists, may often have to be proved in court. That's why they study media law. In this case BF has not been able to challenge any of Drummond's allegations in court. You're not helping his case here. In Thai its rare that newspapers do investigation's naming the actual subjects. Why would that be?

I just re-read one of his articles to double check if I'm being delusional.

It reads like The Jerry Springer Show.

He is publishing private emails. This is not really journalism technically.

It's public taunting.

These private emails belong in the courtroom, not for the public.

He's airing his dirty laundry on his site of people's emails retaliating against him.

If there's a crime, fine. Report it. But I don't want to read all this dirty laundry stuff.

Of course people can get vicious when attacked by reporters.

It proves nothing to be publishing all this crap.

Seems like he's taunting people, waiting for responses, then posting their actions on his site all to get views and clicks on his site.

And to say "see I told you expats in Pattaya were bad dudes!"

If you don't want to read "dirty laundry stuff", no one is forcing you to do so. Why are you getting your underwear all in a twist about it?

You are acting a bit 'sus' if you would ask me...

He is more of an internet troll than a serious journalist.

He gets his rocks off pi**ing people off, then posting the saga on his web page.

Can a serious journalist not have a sense of humour? I know that if someone targets me here, I give them a taste of their own medicine. Quite normal human behaviour. Everyone does it.

Well he would say that wouldn't he. I remember very well him posting on those and exchanging messages with him, he always seemed to annoy people. He has never retracted anything he wrote, never admited facts published were wrong or that an informant fed him lies. Flowers was not even in Thailand 21 years ago and I have no interest in anything he writes about him, he appears to be Drummonds latest Pattaya obsession.

I say @Thai-Defender is Chalky White and I claim my £5 ! Some will remember the allusion ...

Drummond reports: "I have checked with the US State Department. 'There has been no No 2 at the United States Embassy in Bangkok with initials provided by the poster in the last 50 years. I do not know Flowers and have never met him. The original poster has not explained what the letters ASFO stands for. If he does maybe I can recall a story. I keep a record and background material on all all stories including any withdrawn. If I had written a story about the No 2 at the US Embassy in Bangkok the U.S. Embassy would have reacted immediately. Corrections are always made if a statement is found to be wrong. It is quite irrelevant when Flowers arrived in Thailand. But he arrived circa 2006 before www.andrew-drummond.com was created. In 2008 he registered the website www.jizzflicker.com.

The first sentence on this website on the first day it went up was about bar girls and read: "Guys lets look closer at how we live and how they live and lets see how we can improve our lives by lying" 55555

It is relatively well documented. You can read the Guardian and the Bangkok Post articles.

You remember, or is it you imagine? Or you are confused (if we are charitable)?

To date you are unable to provide any documentation to support your claim. For all we know you could be one of the villains implicated or you could have your own agenda, angry at someone who exposed corruption and the exploitation of people.

False accusations have been made. Feeble minded buffoons who latch onto anything they imagine is a conspiracy facilitate and enable the disinformation campaign.

To date, none of the negative claims made about Mr. Drummond on this website have been backed up with actual documentation. All I have seen to date are a repetition of claims already proven false.

My negative claims are based on my perceptions of his writing style after reading a couple of his articles.

The suggestion that Drummond did not know any of those sites he was banned from is quite laughable, at the time they were as well known as Thai visa where he cannot deny he was banned from at least twice. Maybe somebody could ask Drummond if he remembers sex with some of Rickies girls? Fancy that, an 'award winning' ethical journalist like St Drummond engaging in illegal prostitution. No, there appears to be no documetation left, but he did do it, did justify it later and has continued his obsession for years with western individuals in Pattaya. I do not believe he is a happy man at all and feel quite sorry for him.

Technically not illegal. I suppose you can associate negative connotations to anyone participating in the sex trade.

But in my opinion, an unethical journalist trying to smear people and ruin people's reputations is far worse than paying for sex.

What do you mean technically not illegal.... I always though sluzza's renting out their bits in Thailand was 100% illegal.

Had a look on the way back machine, but nothing for so long ago, I did find this reference though on a forum from a few years ago Thai 360 used to be Nanaplaza of course, before that sanuk fun in Thailand one of the first, if not the first Thai themed website from 1996. Sarisin was the diplomats log in on Nanaplaza, no it does not say Drummonds name but who else could it have been? Real names were not allowed

So few remain - however remain emotionally attached to thai360.com.

I remember Sarisin from those days, a real ego maniac but a lot of fun, especially his new years eve champagne do at Tilac bar. Unfortunately 'exposed' by that scumbag Scottish gutter journalist for having a an ASFO hat and going out to have a good time. He also had a few threats to somebody else on...

Have a look at the 1996 suppression of prostitution act, everything around is illegal, prostitution, pimping, trafficking, underage etc. Debatable if paying for it is covered.

None of the above has any bearing to your original claim of his "fit up" of your close confidant and friend at the US embassy 25 years ago. You just keep coming up with one allegation after another, none of which you can substantiate. It appears that you are neither a lady, nor one who is not implicated in the activities which he profiled.

Why is he one of the most sued journalists ever?

Would so many people waste time, money, energy filing lawsuits if there wasn't some degree of defamation and false reporting?

It's not closed down at all, and you have no idea who the poster was. There's no pleasing some people.

The Thai Criminal Code does not forbid the buying or selling of sexual services by anyone 18 years of age or older. Solicitation, promoting prostitution, pimping, operating a brothel, etc., are illegal and punishable under Thai law, but not the mere act of buying or selling sexual services.

But now you're just perpetuating the same shady journalism as Andrew Drummond. And probably many other western journalists. He's not the only one.

ie Any farang running a bar in Thailand is a criminal.

Please stop. Nobody cares how farangs want to define things.

Running a bar is not illegal.

Stop trying to run the country and smear everyone associated with the bar scene.

I appreciated your comments about Drummond, but now you're getting on my nerves too.

I'm out.

I rarely look at face book, but Drummond carries on his obsession with Pattaya on there. Here he is complaining that people he has been smearing for years have the nerve to answer him back using his own tactics. Then says they have not had any effect, so what's the problem? Note, a 'journalist' who cannot use proper gammar.

Andrew Drummond

April 15 ·

A wee while ago I said I was under massive attack on the net. Well, it WAS massive, the attacker, a Brit in Thailand who runs a large sex tourism operation in the infamous resort of Pattaya had created what are known as smear hubs all interlinking but with fictious stories about your truly. However, weeks on there has been no effect.
