Democrats have a higher percentage of higher education among both men and women, but we have learned that learning institutions are seen as enemies by the new government and MAGA.

supported by Pew: 51% of Democratic voters had college degrees in 2022, compared with 37% of Republican voters.

So education wise, Democrats have the stronger base in formal education, including history, politics, economy, law, philosophy, geography, social science, media literacy, science, and the understanding of science.

That becomes visible when so many MAGA supporters think tariffs are paid by foreign countries, not by importers and consumers at home and also Trump/MAGA have attacked universities, experts, science, media, courts, and institutions, do not makes it much better.

And now those exact same people have been shafted by the Trump administration as he breaks his promises and goes as far as to tell average Americans that he doesn't care about their financial concerns. And all of those same people as now seeing him for what he is: a mentally unstable narcissist who is rapidly becoming a danger to the United States and average Americans.

Most voted for Trump because he wasn't Kamala ....... no other reason.

Against any sensible candidate he would have lost, but lefties don't do sensible!

I can't see Trump has done anything worse than Kamala would have done.

He would still be the right person to vote for if the same choice was given aghain.

The claim was proved Tuesday November 5th 2024.

At least post something that isn’t a coattail ride for once.

You definitely add spice to the conversation, but your accusations miss the point. I am not the enemy here, nor are the European people. It is pointless to continue such a conversation when every criticism becomes a package deal.

The clever part here is putting immigrants and religions up as targets, which distracts from the real core of the problems. Especially when Europe has often acted like a buffer zone, helping people in need after US foreign policy consequences.

We in Norway have taken refugees from Korea, Vietnam, and many other conflicts where the USA played a major role.

Not to forget, Norway and other European states have also been your eyes and ears on the border with Russia. Remember Russia? The old strategic rival of the USA.

So is this the big “thank you” in return?

Right! If there would not be the war mongering USA since WW2, we won't have a problem with too many migrants in EU.

Note, before it's coming up with migrant bashing: 87% of those migrants are working and paying taxes, means earning their living !!

Many college degrees are a scam.

They don't lead to jobs and the kids are probably being brainwashed by garbage idealogies. They're probably pushing trans nonsense and who knows what other nonsense and disguising it as intellectual discussion.

Obviously, you need medicine, etc ... but many kids are wasting time getting stupid degrees just to bolster their egos that they went to college, getting into debt, learning nothing useful, and partying and drinking too much.

Trump wants to invest in trades. Not sexy, but you know what? Plumbers might soon be one of the highest paid jobs IF AI does start to take away white collar jobs.

Also, college campuses can become breeding grounds for protests ie Pro-Palestine ...and govts do not like this.

Let me quote the messiah himself:

"I love the poorly educated"---Donald J Trump (2016)

"Smart people don't like me"---Donald J Trump (2025)

I think we know where folks, who think being able to pick out the squirrel in an image of a lion, giraffe, alligator and squirrel, impressed as impressed can be that Trump could display his stable genius in such a way, sit on the IQ Bell Curve.

Trumps biggest supporters are old white men. They resonated with his hateful rhetoric as they see the world changing in front of their eyes. They want things to be back the way they were. Trump sold them that dream.

Am I going to be like you when I grow up? 🤣

You've just indicted the entire university system of the US. Rather unfair.

I hope that last year's graduates from my Biz School alma mater can find some solace in that corporate America gave them an average starting salary of $190,901, coupled with an average signing bonus of $30,000.

I bet Trump wants to invest in trades so that he will have a larger pool of subcontractors he can stiff.

You sound full of it.

Those are lawyer's salaries maybe.

190K for doing what exactly?

What is an MBA? Teaches you how to set up a business? Teaches you how to write a business plan? ChatGPT can create a business plan for you.

Sounds like bs.

The best businesses are set up by people who work in an industry many years and then branch off on their own.

Some people start off as chefs, but once they've been in the restaurant industry 10 years and save some money, they might open up their own restaurant. ie they started out with a practical skill.

That would be misogynistic poorly educated old white men, guys upset because the entitlement they thought came with their gender and skin color evaporated when the playing field suddenly became more level.

Their lives didn't turn out the way they thought it should, so about all they have left is bitterness and a membership card to the cult of MAGA. Trump gives them what they need as their days slip away: others to blame for their own lack of success in career, marriage and life itself.

You can lead a poster to Google, but I'm not sure if you can make him think.

Stanford Graduate School of Business. Google starting average salaries 2025. Are they/ were we worth it? Corporate America seems to think so, so who are we/were we to argue?

Read it and weep.

No time, sorry.

I have a conspiracy theory for you.

Maybe Trump is going out of his way to make everyone hate him.

Because he will do sth very unpopular like try to bring down the debt.

And that means everyone will be negatively affected in the short term.

Even though it may be good in the long term.

No President wants to do it because it makes things bad in the immediate economy.

So Trump will be scapegoated and blamed, but he's already hated anyway.

Then the Epstein files will connect him and he will be kicked out.

Back to reality: debt is increasing under Trump and his big beautiful bill is going to increase it further.

So you think any of the other presidents make their own decisions completely independently?

No. Absolutely not but I don't think that we've ever seen another president in American history who is even close to the level of corruption that we see with Donald. Nor do I think we've ever had a president who's as easy to manipulate as he is.

I have a hard time believing anyone is "controlling" Trump.

You can love him or hate him, but one thing that's been consistent about Trump for decades is that he does what he wants to do!!

If anything, one of the biggest criticisms of Trump is that he doesn't listen to advisers, experts, party leaders, the media or even members of his own administration when he disagrees with them.

People have been calling him stubborn, arrogant, impulsive and impossible to control for years.

Those traits may not always be positive, but they don't exactly describe someone who's taking orders from unseen puppet masters.

You can argue that some of his policies benefit certain interests, sure, just like you can with any president. But the idea that Donald Trump, of all people is quietly doing whatever someone else tells him to do doesn't really fit the personality he's shown his entire public life.

I don't believe for a second that he's making these big decisions on his own. He's simply incapable and I don't believe that he would remain alive if he wasn't following the dictates of a far greater power.

OMG pot calling the kettle black,

I don't think you understand the distinction between labeling a president or a politician at the national level and idiot, a creep, or an imbecile, and demonstrating that same level of nastiness toward fellow members of this forum. They are two completely different things, and if you can't figure that out then there's nothing that I can say to instill a level of dignity or civility within your heart.

Some of my wealthiest friends have MBA's and is it is often a ticket to a great deal of wealth. Especially if it's from a top 10 MBA school.

At the World Economic Forum, Trump was flipping the finger to those guys, while Carney was kissing their butts. That's one "deep state" group that wields a lot of power and influence. They were probably the ones who shut the whole planet down during Covid.
