Have you really done all you wanted to do ?

You certainly have a strange way to explain things. If I learned to do bad things learned at home, who taught my parents to teach me?

If a venomous snake or mosquito bites me, and I go up to 'heaven to meet God' will he refuse entry because I did not pass his test?

Now back on topic. How has your God helped you do all you wanted to?

Fred is still looking for a wife, god didn't manage to find him one in his first 68 years.

All he was given was narcissists.

Nope, been chasing life all my life, and found out, less is more! Now it is more about enjoying life without looking back, now is good. I chased life for years. Now I just enjoy it.

They're parents, and so on back through the history. Home is where everything about life is taught, good or bad. If you believe in God, and have a personal relationship with him, you'll be there. I'm not sure about hell, if it's permanent or not, but i don't want to find out.

I'm not sure how much God has helped me, but I've seen times where it seems he has.

In chats with my father it has come to me that aging is when one's pile of dreams is a lot shorter than one's pile of memories. Maybe keeping the dream pile high slows aging?

It also seems to me far too many people have a death wish, even if they don't admit it. They smoke, drink to excess, avoid exercise and gym work, get bloated....doing most everything that shortens both the quantity and, it seems, the quality of life.

Others pine for a paradise promised by whatever superstition they happen to embrace. Frankly, I suspect paradise and perfection are the ultimate in boredom. Life's enjoyment comes from meeting challenges and obstacles and overcoming them, or at least giving it one's best effort. Personally, to settle down in total contentment is death, or worse. Victory cannot be fully enjoyed unless there have been failures along the way.

What truly makes life---or almost anything good---sweet is the realization that all is fleeting. Embrace it when it's there. I never understood the Eastern philosophy that 'everything is temporary, so peace comes from absence of desire'. Maybe that was "comforting" when life generally sucked, but in this modern world life is incredibly varied and exciting. Absence of want and desire is death, not peace. It's similar for Western faiths: life sucks, but if you follow some rules, eternal bliss waits. BORING! The here and now, finite as it is, is true paradise.

No, all I chose were wrong partners to have children with. If I would have looked towards God, I would have chosen better. That children were created seems like he was okay with my choices, though impermanent, so these children would be here with their own lives.

One, this last one, is a narcissist. One was addicted to pain killers, no children, and one was into witchcraft, lied, was violent and likely cheated, not wanting to be home with the children after the first one much, so I took over.

Now, enter this into your memory banks, as you keep forgetting what actually happened and only reply based on your own life as you can't fathom others treating women as equals, and that there are evil women in this world, and some actually pick more than one in their lives.

Now stop giving me thumbs downs Brit, as it's childish, and if you lose an argument, as you always do with me, just let it go.

Went to one of them in CM (Loi Krow pub Red Lion?) one XMAs.

Loads of guys, two tatooed wives.

Had my fill of the free food and quickly left to trawl the rest of Loi Krow.

You haven't missed anything.

Government in Sakon Nakhon. At 80 years of age, health insurance, (a gross misnomer IMO) is way beyond my pay grade!

Don't let your wife read this. Examples? My daughter was with friends and got sick, very high fever. They dropped her off at the hospital and left. I found out later, went there and she had sepsis and the doctor said it didn't look good, My mom and I prayed and she came out of the induced coma and was okay.

On a much lighter note, I've been in the right place, right time, to shoot one of my biggest bucks. Hard to explain but I went to a certain bank, one of a chain, to get money out before I went hunting that morning. The timing was, when I pulled out of the bank, a buck chased a doe right in front of my car, through a parking lot. I stopped, followed them, and got a shot in the nearest woods. If you leave the house 10 seconds later or earlier, things like this don't happen, much like all accidents. Other times I would have to think of, but there were more.

What do you mean by your opening sentence?

Wow, that was very good of your GOD to help you shoot a defenceless animal.

Do you consider your praying to be what brought your girl out of an induced coma? If so, I would not have much confidence in the Hospital.

Back on topic. I have not yet done everything I want to on my bucket list before I kick the bucket, but I do not yet know what those things are. 555

That you wanted to "do" those women.

God put the deer here for us to eat. All animals can be considered defenseless against humans. They're either food or pets, or here for another of earth's purposes, although so many venomous snakes I can't understand.

We really can't tell if our prayers work or not, but many have seen miracles happen. yes, the hospital was there doing it's job, but when you're in a coma, some things just have to work out themselves, and maybe God helps sometimes, as it seems many times people survive things that seem impossible, and others die from seemingly very little. I have a big bucket listed, postponed because I've spent the last 38 years raising children, mostly by myself.

You obviously do not know what the 555 which I put after the girls' names means.

If YOUR God put deer and all animals for humans to eat, then I am so sad for your belief. I wonder what any vegans on the Forum think about your statement

Back on topic, my next bucket list thing is to go see my younger son singing in Cyprus next month.

I would guess it means you want them and laugh because it's a fantasy.

God put animals on earth for us to eat. If you've ever had a Argentinian, Japanese, Australian or Texas Ribeye, Porterhouse, New York Strip or T- Bone steak, Wagyu Cheeseburger, Texas BBQ, Philadelphia Cheesesteak, Grilled Swordfish, Blackened Snapper, Bluefin Tuna Sushi, Beef Stew, Italian Meatballs, Meat Lasagne, Filet Mignon and Lobster, Creole Gumbo, Grilled Chicken Breast with Swiss Cheese, Shrimp Scampi, Broiled Salmon, Pan Fried Rainbow Trout, Seasoned flour Walleye filets cooked on an island in Canada, Texas Chili, Thai Green Chicken Curry, Stuffed Flounder, Oysters Rockefeller, Pan Seared Scallops and many others, you would know God was right on in his inventions.

Vegans are missing out on so much it's ridiculous, and they aren't any healthier than those that eat animal flesh, as long as they do it right.

I also want to finish my bucket list of traveling to certain places and fishing and hunting in many more. If I could pass after reeling in a 1000 lb Black Marlin, and watching it swim away, at age 100, that would make my day.

I caught a blue one when I was a kid. The boat landed five. I never realized that people spend huge amounts of money and go out all day and not one person on the boat catches a marlin. Here we had five in a day. The captain was out of his mind it had to be a record.

My cousin's kept theirs. I wanted to keep mine but it got away. Upon the few visits I made to see them over the years I was really glad that morning wasn't up on the wall.

So did God tell that Sikh animal to stab the white boy. Or the cops to cuff his white hands when he was on the ground?

I know others will ask why God allows all the War and fighting wherever it goes on, does he give people cancer or other illnesses.

If I were in charge as you say God is, I would get fired....which in my mind, he has.

God created the universe, and sits back and watches what free will in humans can do, even though he gave us 10 Commandments that make total sense if followed.

Some days are extra special while most are average in hookups. I lost a Sailfish I never saw, as it jumped twice while I was putting the rod in the holder. I'm hoping my time will come.

Getting sillier. But you are entitled to your views and beliefs.

What Commandments did your God give to Muslims, and all other religions?

God isn't about religions. All people need is to believe in him. I was raised a Catholic and some of the things are unnecessary, so I just stayed Christian. His Commandments are for all people. Most world problems come from disobeying them and over indulgence, which can be gluttony.

Does a man who fancies, covets, or even fornicated with his neighbour's wife cause most World problems?

Or is it because they have another God and make graven images, work on a Sunday, honour the father , or in you case Mother, who left shortly after your or your child's birth, tell lies,

These are different from the originals given on stone tablets to Moses as Catholic combine the first two.

Who needs this ancient story to know that they should not kill, steal or covet, or bonk next door's Mrs.

That statement leaves me dumbfounded. All people??

29% of the people on this earth are Christians. Do you ever take that fact into account? Do you need to be shown the breakdown of religions by percentage? For me I take Karl Marx's view.

3 minutes ago, wil iam not said:

The breakdown of the family in any way, which means teaching your children how you act towards others, is the breakdown of society. A father who loves his wife, is faithful, kind, caring and a provider, will raise the same to do the same things with their partners.

Narcissists are where the worlds problems start, and they are home learned. If you cheat with your neighbors wife, you ruin two families, and the children think it's normal behavior they'll likely mirror when they are adults. it's hard to changed ingrained behavior.

Yes, but over 80% believe in God. Less than 20% are atheists or agnostic, which matters little as it's a personal thing anyway. I'm 69, and have been a Christian all those years, so no need to show me what I already knew since childhood.

People who have been told about God are surely curious, and that's almost everyone on earth above a certain age. as it makes sense to think there was a creator. Ask anyone if they would like to meet him, even if they think he doesn't exist.

When I said all people, I meant all a person has to do is believe in him. Then go from there.

One thing Fred is getting wrong is by using the word GOD, instead of A God.

If fact, I have done FAR MORE than I ever WANTED to do.

You see, I never wanted to do much of anything besides to lie-back and unwind.

Maybe smoke a little reefer....

And listen to Savoy Brown.

I still feel that way.

And, I am in COMPLETE SOLIDARITY with China's Tang Ping Movement, the lying flat movement taking China by storm.

Naturally, one cannot lie flat all day long....

And, so...

Sometimes I try to "give back" for all the blessings I have received in this life.

I don't want to do no more then this.

If there were more than one, we would see proof of a competition I would think. Seeing who's the best god. Let's get back to the topic at hand, as this is another entirely.
