I already answered that. I can inform you, but you have to understand what you read. Now stop parroting!

Must be like dipping a pencil in a bucket of warm water, huh?

The objective is to restrict the population of overweight, bald, tattooed individuals to the Sukhumvit area.

Surprised to know that it's part of Carlsberg group (even more surprising, Carlsberg have majority share holding - not sure they would get away with that in Thailand).

They tried. They had a deal around 25+ years ago to develop Chang Beer for a Thai partner so he could take Singha head on. The quid pro quo was that the Thai partner had to bottle Carlsberg beer in Thailand to challenge Heineken. But once Chang was making millions, the distribution of Carlsberg seemed to have been sidelined. There was a lawsuit - I think in Singapore where the contract was drawn up. Carlsberg won but I'm not sure if they ever received damages. Carlsberg was then out of the Thai market for a decade. International companies thinking about doing (any kind) of business in Thailand often find this case when doing their due diligence research.

Thanks for that, very interesting. I do seem to recall that in the 2,000's there was a period where Carlsberg was very difficult to come by in Thailand. I wasn't a huge fan but didn't mind a few bottles now and again. My landlady at the time on Samui used to bring me back 2 boxes at a time on her frequent driving trips to Malaysia. She never seemed to have a problem.

I guess you have nothing else to do, more than be 100% stupid. Good on you! Now you managed to make even more insults. Amazing how many degenerates we have here. Your mother and father most be proud of their offspring.

They were before they died, thanks!

Your posts are full of insults, yet you moan about people making insults, how funny is that? You must be a leftist, yes?

I was the one who gave you the heart. I totally agree. It's football. Basically, if they call it soccer, that means they can't play it ie the U S of A. Can't host a decent tournament either.

Yes we call it football because we use feet to kick the ball, what Americals call football stragely use their hands mainly to run with the ball, but still call it football!

My mistake, The Beer Republic , not Mulligans. Good prices too.

Best pub I’ve seen lately is the Royal Bar and Hotel in Kandy Sri Lanka. A real beauty, opened in 1860 . I was there on a visa run.

I didn't, and I would never. Not a bad version for a 'western' themed venue ...

If I order the chicken one and only eat half the rice, my trainer says I should eat that every day.

I also leave a 20 baht as a tip.

Watch Bignok have a seizure now.

When I lived in Bangkok I seldom went to the British / Irish Bars except when there was a sporting event on I wanted to watch with a good atmosphere. I think the reason being that a British or Irish name and some decor, and a token pint of Guinness does not make a pub or bar that feels British or Irish. They feel as British or Irish as Hard Rock Cafe in Pattaya feels American. So on that basis I would, and still would, prefer to meet people or go for a drink in a local owned place because they are usually not a disappointment, where as the British or Irish places generally are. Therefore I would assume they exist off of tourists Baht and not immigrants to Bangkok's Baht, so the places remain where the tourists go. Not sure why places like Taffy's Hairy Pie Club closed though and didn't relocate to the burbs - that famous Welsh venue. Would have done very well in Bang Na near the convention centre 🤣
