Cabinet to give wishes to PM on his 65th birthday anniversary

At the Cabinet meeting today (August 28th), Deputy Prime Minster and Industry Minister Kosit Panpiemras (โฆสิต ปั้นเปี่ยมรัษฎ์) will be the representative of the Cabinet to give well wishes to Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont on his 65th birthday anniversary.

Meanwhile, the Royal Thai Army Commander-in-Chief and Council for National Security (CNS) Chairman, Gen. Sonthi Boonyaratglin (สนธิ บุญยรัตกลิน), could not attend today’s Cabinet meeting as he is paying an official visit to Myanmar.

However, some of the main issues to be discussed at the Cabinet meeting will include the Ancient Fossil draft bill to be proposed by Industry Minister Kosit and the procurement of a royal aircraft to be proposed by the Ministry of Defence.

In addition, the Ministry of Justice will propose the budget to support the eradication of narcotics, and the Interior Ministry will propose for Mr. Charoenchai Kitticsilpa (เจริญชัย กิตติศิลป์) to be the Governor of the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority.
