I don't see it that way.

The major parties were too scared to run against him and suffer a humiliating defeat.

And Farage was so afraid of losing to a bin, he didn't turn up for the count, lying that was because of police advice. With an even smaller voter turnout than in the election, he missed his "vindication by people of Clacton" by a country mile. They've probably been chatting with the disenchanted voters over in Thanet who are thankfully shot of this charlatan when he was their MEP.

Britain is so broken that it is heading towards a civil war, after which it will become officially known as The European Republic of Islam. 😂

Labour are well on the way to fixing "broken Britain". It can't be expected to be fixed in 2 years.

I can only go by the numbers, and he got more than double the votes of second place, Count Binface.

I don't think Farage was lying about not attending the count. Protesters, and those seeking to do him harm, would have known he would be there, but he changed the itinerary at the last moment, negating any possible threat. The police would have been happy, it saves the department money.

The UK is in such disarray they really need to call a general election, but those with their snouts in the trough will never do it. Thus, another few years of more of the same, a steady decline into the abyss.

I believe an election now would create more disarray.

I'm not leaning towards any political party but I'd be unlikely to vote Restore or Reform as I don't believe the can do what they say they can. I wouldn't vote Labour or Green and the Conservatives don't seem to really know what side to try to defeat. LidDems are just as they always are. Spend spend spend, no funds.

There are those that are right wing who will go Restore or Reform, left wing that will go Labour or Greens. Protest votes that will go LibDem and centre/centre right that would consider the conservatives.

In my opinion, an election now would result in a hung parliament with no options to form a coalition.

So do I, but at least it would give a party a mandate, whoever that party may be.

Can the UK really afford to keep going down the same path for the next few years?

Personally, either do I, but similar to Australia, the two major parties have got the country into the mess it is in today.

Perhaps a political shake up is in order.

I think many feel the same way, but are looking for a party to do something, anything, to try to turn the country around.

I agree. I'm just wondering about the percentage of voters who would change their preference to a party that in the past they never thought they would ever vote for. I don't mean swing voters, I mean people who have voted for the same party all their life.

Australia is experiencing a similar thing now as well, but it's not all about uncontrolled migration. Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party is a little similar to Reform and Farage.

Possibly.

There's a lot of unhappy citizens in the UK now. They have been looking for strong leadership at a time of crisis and it's nowhere to be found.

In my opinion, career politicians do not have to have courage to do what needs to be done in Britain.

Unhappy citizens is nothing new! Most citizens were very unhappy with the years of misrule from Boris, Liz and Richi. If Andy hasn't turned things around by 2029, they can register their unhappiness at an election. But let's give Andy time; he's started promisingly.

Andy just got pranked by a White House aide. 🙂

Might have to roll out Dad's Army again. 🙂

He needs a good one liner, like, "We will fight them on the beaches, we will fight them in the Mosques. We shall never convert to Islam." 🙂

The man you speak of had dual British-Pakistani citizenship before being stripped of his UK passport following his conviction but cannot be deported due to a 1971 law forbidding the removal of a small group of Commonwealth citizens who arrived in the UK more than 50 years ago.

Extremely unlikely, but I can think of nothing more beneficial to little England's shrunken greatness than rounding up all the drunk and otherwise gormless anti-Islam howler monkeys, giving them a week or two of basic training, and punting them off to a front somewhere. Anywhere but Essex.

Yes. Too easily taken for a ride.

I'm sure he will enjoy his time at the trough, but nothing will change.

Was he born in England ? Shamina Begum was stripped of her uk citizenship but born in England, she is in your mind protected under the 1971 law but cannot return to the uk only because home secretaries have denied her entry. Either change the law or refuse visa's from Pakistani's wishing to come to the UK are what is being looked at to kick this groomer back to Pakistan where he was born.

She's not protected under that law. She was striped of citizenship under the 2981 Immigration act.

Strange i can't find what this law refers to in the UK.

The phrase "2981 law" can refer to several different specific legal codes or statutes depending on the region and context, most notably California Civil Code Section 2981 governing vehicle sales finance, or New York Public Health Law Section 2981 regarding health care proxies. [1, 2] Maybe you got your year wrong its 1981 immigration law.

It looks like "2981" is a typo or mishearing for the British Nationality Act 1981 (c. 61), which is a core piece of United Kingdom legislation relating to nationality, citizenship, and closely tied to immigration rules. [1, 2]

A pamphlet being handed out to ALL migrants arriving by boat set out to inform them

1 You must not Rape Females

2 You must not have sex with young girls this is illegal in the UK.

3 You cannot have sex without both giving consent.

5 You must not have sex if the female is asleep

6 You cannot marry a young girl under uk consenual age.

This news is breaking so i don't have a link yet. Again british Taxpayers are paying for this doccument. This in my opinion is what we have been saying all along migrants coming here from country's where kids are being married off at 10yrs up and child rape is acceptable, Rape is acceptable in some muslim cultures. So the Government have had to set out rules to migrants entering.

Finland has provided a roadmap for the rest of Europe, showing migrants how to treat women.

Andy Burnham has ignored the Residents of Piddington in Oxfordshire. He told the residents two weeks ago he will meet them to discuss there Concerns. Upto 1,400 will be placed in old MOD barracks just outside there village of just 400 residents. They will be outnumbered 4-1. What could possibly go wrong, bare in mind they are unvetted.

Didn't you want them put in barracks instead of hotels not so long ago?

I think what most people want is for them not to make it to British jurisdiction in the first place.

In other words, stop the boats.

Yes, rejoining the EU would do this.

Would that stop the boats, or just see the migrants shared over all the EU countries?

Well, 'the boats' were not a significant issue pre-Brexit.
