Can The Uk Registered Civil Partnerships Be Allowed To Apply For A Eea Family Permit For Other Countries In Europe?

Dear all,

Is there anyone who can tell me if my Chinese Civil Partner could apply for a EEA family permit for another European country?

I am a British citizen who has been registered in a civil partnership with my Chinese partner

last year in the UK .My Chinese partner has a poor UK immigration history in his past , he has been in the

country illegally for more than nearly 10 years ( applied asylum before, but has been turned down by the home office , then they never done anything else, just left him alone), because he has entered the country illegally under someone elses name,so the homeoffice no longer trust him anymore.

Anyway a few months ago he returned to China and applied for a settlement Visa . This was turned down by the visa section in China ( I am not surprised at all , but just felt a little disappointed and upset ) in the end we have never applied for an appeal against it's decision , because we know this will be a waste of our time.( no win situation)

After his application has been turned down I decided to move to China and left my job in the UK , I am now living and working in China so I can be with him .At the moment we are both working and my annual income is around 18,000GBP -19,000GBP , he is earning around 6000GBP per annual in Shanghai.(not bad as well) currently we are living together in his own apartment , His parents are upper middle class in China and they have their own pensions and 2 apartments ( one is for renting) we have around 10,000pounds in our savings account (half in the UK account, the half is in the Chinese account) after all the utility bills and other money is spent for food ,shopping , taxis , travelling we still can manage to save around 800 Pounds per month every month, in theory we are living a very good life stlyeand don't have any debits ,so this is our basic financial situation . Therefore we have no intention to reapply for another UK Visa for now , as we both know this is going to be tough and even impossible task.I don't know what else we can do ??? what chance do we stand for me to bring him to the UK even just for a visit ?? what about the Human Right Act, will this work in our case? we can prove that our relationship is based on true love and have lots of evidence. My partner is now only 27 and he has spent almost a quater of his life time living in the UK , I think everyone makes mistakes in their life time ,he was only 17 when he broke the immigration law and he has learnt his lesson already. what can we do ? is there any chances for him? So if the UK goverment won't allowe him back forever , what about in case my company wants to post me to another country in Europe , canmy partner be allowed to apply for an EEA Family Permit for that country , so he can join me ? Of course he doesn't have any record or a poor immigration history in any other EU country apart from the UK, what type of Visa can he apply for ? so that we can travel together in the future,we have the legal document issued by the British government to proof that we are Civil partners . Within European Union how many countries do accept UK Civil partnerships and treat them just like married couples with all the respects and entitlements? Thank you for the time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
