I would also understand the aggression its usage implies in discussions.

If you don’t like being called pal, don’t call me mate.

Sigh, you obviously haven't watched the bodycam footage that has caused the outrage otherwise you would understand the context of that phrase e.g:

Henry Novak: I can't breathe, I've been stabbed.

Police officer: I don't think so... mate.

I imagine Henry Novak didn't like being called "mate" either when he was bleeding out and trying to convince the police officer that he really had been stabbed and needed help rather than getting pulled across the gravel, put into handcuffs and received this kind of mockery with his last few dying breaths.

Don’t tell me what I’ve not watched.

The usual white grievance strokers wallowing in their need to feel like victims.

Nowak was the victim, the grievance strokers are not listening to what his parents have said about using the tragic death of their son to stoke division.

Ignorance is bliss.

Tell that to the Southport victims families, tell it to Manchester arena victims families, tell it to the7/7 victims families, Rape victims families, Liverpool/ Manchester hospitals potential victims,so on so on endless.....good and glad to be white, think the kovack family will now be thinking otherwise, keeps his name remembered

You seem fixated on his criminal record it doesntt bother me there is no difference except the lefty pettiness, a name is a name, how did you refer to Freddy Mercury ? sorry I meant "Billy Brag" now what were we saying about misery and the left? you revel in it Even their public marches and demonstrations are miserable and sad , all masked up and dressed in black , it actually seems appropriate, So come on sad boy tell us a joke it doesnt even have to be funny , if you are struggling try a knock knock joke or pinch one of jim davidson's come on cheer us up, prove me wrong lol

This isn’t the pub forum.

And it’s not my job to try and cheer you up.

If you had watched it then you would have understood the context of the phrase "I don't think so... mate" as it is one of the most egregiously horrible moments in a series of horrific events in a 3 minute video. The fact you have no idea what it refers to suggests that you haven't watched it. It's not compulsory to watch it of course (although watching it can be helpful when commenting about it) and if you prefer to get your world views from fictional dramas like Adolescence then that is of course up to you.

Yes is.

It’s also overtly aggressive term and you chose to use it.

Perhaps you’re taking the obscene behavior of the officer as a guide to how you should address people.

It's not as touching as this pic.

Absolutely.

Starmer actively supported and participated in the 2020 BLM protests/movement that turned Floyd's death into a global racial grievance event (with widespread riots in places).

That was framed as righteous anger against "systemic racism."

In the Nowak case, he's condemning Farage for "exploiting" it and calling for "cold rage" unforgivable.

Starmer is a cynical opportunist at best at worst a bare faced liar!

Actually I think he got to live in the UK the same way most Brit’s do, by being born there.

Yep. This 'British' thing is an abomination super imposed on England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The 'British' can all do one!

Revoke the British Nationality Act 1948/1981 and send them ALL back if they're not contributing enough

No matter how you dress up your responses from others, there is one event in the making that will most certainly have you vomiting up your cornflakes in the morning (or evening meal ) Farage is with a certainty the next PM

That would have everyone vomiting with regret. Reform are clearly not fit to govern, have no other policies other than shouting at boats, and in fact would make Britain much worse for the average working person. This has been shown in each and every council they took control over. They are a mess.

However, they did bring in the recital of the Lord's Prayer and the singing of the National Anthem at council meetings. So that's ok then.

Taking Britain backwards. Making things worse for working people. Making the rich much much richer.

Enjoy your cornflakes.

Starmer is so far detached from the mood of the country, that you could easily think his detachment was deliberate; his primary stance over the appalling murder of this lovely young man, is to attack Nigel Farage for politicising the event, as if politicising it is wrong, or unwarranted.

Almost everyone in the UK is talking about this tragedy, and millions of people  want this to be politicised; people want an end to the political establishment that has allowed police forces to be given DEI training that has put officers under so much pressure that instead of their first action being a duty of care to a stab victim, they are more inclined to believe he had said something racist.

Starmer regurgitating verbal baby food like “the police have questions to answer” and that it was a “harrowing case” while berating Farage for wanting substantive action taken, shows just what an appallingly feeble and out of touch man he is …. Call out the instigators 😬

Why is the murderer allowed in public with a dagger, religious beliefs aside. Anyone else with knife in public would be arrested.

If the knife is ceremonial then make them out of soft rubber. Still struggling what ceremony needs a lethal weapon as part of it.

Two tier laws. You can carry a knife, but you cannot.

UK is rapidly on the way to a failed state if this sort of thing continues to permitted.

Reports of him wearing the knife in the office where he worked. And a video of a road rage incident with him brandishing a sword and a knife.

I beg your pardon Jonny, I thought as a member of this forum I may post were I wish.

Whistles to self!

Yes you may.

But you must accept that your refusal to mention race in a thread about racism does not mean the topic has nothing to do with race.

You are like a kid putting their fingers in their ears and screaming I CANT HEAR YOU.

Its not an effective debating strategy but I accept it's all you've got at this point.

So if a transwoman (her/she) originally called Michael had been known as Michelle for 16 years and preferred to be called Michelle, you would insist on calling her Michael until she changed her name legally?

Or are you just being a hypocrite with double standards again?

The final question was rhetorical.

Prang - (aptly named) - that is a truly horrible post. You suggest that Henry Nowak's bereaved Father might read a message crafted by the PM outside the Court.

Have you ever lost a child ? (I hope not).

Henry's Father's words seemed to be completely heartfelt and sincere to me, wise words after his tragic loss.

But the moron's went on the rampage regardless !

Very aptly named actually , which you would realise if you knew what it meant. Yes I am suggesting that message Henry Novak's father may have influenced by somebody from the government ok maybe not from Starmer personally. To deny the possibility is to display a child like nativity. However even if my suggestion was proven to be true, it is in no way a criticism of Henry's father, it is solely a criticism of the current Starmer lead government.

No I have never lost a child in such awful circumstances, but if I had, I am pretty sure that after the initial grief ,I would be absolutely livid, It would not be me in front of the cameras calmly calling for peace and social cohesion, I would not be capable of controlling myself, it would be my lawyer firstly informing everybody that the appallingly lenient sentence will be getting appealed and secondly, informing the police force in general , and the officers personally involved that the full weight of legal proceedings will soon be upon them The "cold rage" as mentioned is exactly what we need ,

I would then as several others have done before me go about setting up "Prangs law" in an attempt to at least make sure that this never happens again, not just the attack but the police response to it

To describe all those involved in the subsequent protests as "morons" is a little too easy , and straight out of Starmers handbook, you might as well have thrown in "extreme right wing" for good measure, whilst some of them, no doubt, will fit that descriptive, many more do not, Why do you think they went "on the rampage"

Jonny, get the help you need.

I did not mention race, hence your accusation of ‘race baiting’ is utter baseless nonsense.

And fyi, the subject of the thread is not race, it’s “Starmer Accuses Farage of Exploiting Nowak Murder”

You have absolutely no basis for accusing me of race baiting, you ran your mouth and aren’t man enough to apologize.

Stop digging.

I can’t say I spend as much time thinking about trans-women as you obviously do.

I couldn’t possibly know this Michelle/Michael you dreamed up so please don’t call me a hypocrite on the basis of the stuff going on in your own head.

Being so eager to be offended is one thing Jonny, dreaming up stuff to feed your need to be offended is something entirely different.

It’s not healthy Jonny, please leave me out of it.
