Yes mate, we are all here to help each other. If you go to Killkenny's on walking street they do a discount card for regulars but cannot off the top of my head remember how much % they reduce. No harm in going in to check if you like :o

It looks like the new Shenanigans is aiming to go upmarket. The drink prices such as 110baht for a botle of San Miguel seems a little optimistic even in that location.

The food specials have also been upgraded and happy hour ends earlier at 7pm.

Its nicley fitted out and will no doubt be very popular in the high season with tourists. I guess the management know what they are doing and will have a very profitable last laugh.

This is a sign of the times. All those shopping malls and upscale developments are aimed at people who are happy to spend freely. Pattaya is changing fast.

Good luck to Shenanigans but other places offer much more for the money.

Finnigans on Soi 4 Nana Bangkok charge 125BHT for San Miguel Light :o Even the Morning Night Bar on the corner only charge 100BHT per bottle & the "decorations" are much better :D

Bangkok's expensive. Went to a recently opened sport's bar on Sukhumvit Soi 23 a couple of weeks ago and paid 95 baht for a Singha beer (100 baht with a note).

Both when I ordered and checked the bill (and in the intervening period) there was absolutely no connection from the Thai staff working there - four female bar staff - no eye contact - not even a word - and this was about two o'clock in the afternoon.

A smile or even the odd word might have encouraged me to return on another occassion.

:o:D
