I love passing through Singapore. It’s a model of efficiency.

There is a reason why that country went from rubble to one of the most successful country on the planet. They are not run by idiots. The first leader was smart and realized that high IQ people will ensure success on the planet. Thailand should take notes.

I travel enough, but at no other airport I see long waiting times to pass immigration.. Longest I had to wait was 10 minutes in all my travels except here in Thailand. There should be counters for visaholders and reentries, and for elderly and disabled.. The priority lines could be used for that, but we are not allowed. These lines are often empty.

Even the USA figured out how to get all the World Cup tourists into our country without waiting 4 hours.

There's a War on Farangs going on. The Nominee Scandal (over-shadowing the Civil Service scandal) is a pogrom. Anutin dislikes 'dirty foreigners' and has chosen now to wage it. He did nothing whilst a Senior Minister in THREE previous administrations; why is he getting his knickers in a twist now?

Excuse me, there is no war on Farangs ok. They are going after everyone, and in case you did not pay attention, a lot of Chinese were impacted by the crackdown.

LOS seems to be incapable of learning. It was the same 20 years ago! Luckily, I now live here in Thailand! Otherwise, it would be a no-go for a holiday.

With the coming 300 THB it will give much more irritation for travellers, as nobody will understand what the money is for. The first impression of Thailand is not a good one

The second, third, fourth and fifth will also cement the impression that Thailand is not a good one.

Anutin is a worthless corrupt PM overseeing a very corrupt money laundering "Blue Party" Senate. Huge news came out yesterday about the latest election cheating and the Election Commission's involvement. Let's hope this inept PM will be removed and another election scheduled.

There is no "coming B300 fee", it has been just a proposal for God knows how long and has fallen at every fence so far. If one is ever actually introduced you can be sure that the purpose/benefit of it will be explained.

No different than my local Big C:

14 checkout counters and yet only 3 open......where there's queues of 7 or 8 deep and many with full carts!

.....and sadly not a fast checkout (10 items or less.....or cash only!)

Even if you believe the numbers that the government cites for unpaid foreign medical bills, the entire amount comes out to less than ten baht per visitor - which does make one wonder how the other 290 baht will be spent.

Now you´re boring. No need to count every baht. It´s the thought that counts. 😂

This doesn't affect me as I've no intentions of leaving Thailand so I won't be returning.

Sometimes, it's not up to you !!

Apparently it's going to be 500 baht per person.

It will be a fantastic chow down.

Come and get it.

There are counters for the elderly and disabled already - it's signposted to the diplomat counter. With my dodgy foot and walking stick, I never experience a wait of more than 5 minutes.

I think they're confusing tourists with terrorists.

So if you schedule an appointment for transport 2 hours after arrival and have to wait 3 or 4 hours, pay for the missed appointment.

Hey, up to you.

Nobody forced you to schedule transportation.

You can just show up on the first floor of the airport and book it any time of the day or night.

It's how I travel everywhere, it's called MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY.

Booking something doesn't mean you get quality.

I booked a "limousine" for a ride to Hua Hin because the condo owner said "you got to be careful who you ride to HH with" and she would book a "limousine" for me.

Guess what? It wasn't a limo and the driver drove like a meth tweaker in the far left breakdown lane like a maniac.

I had to offer him a tip in order to get him to slow down.

What a joke 🤣

And in the Big C counters are going open when the queues are almost solved...

Maybe we send in the B52s again, wouldn't be great to see that again, before we die?

You have to bring a marriage certificate to proof it?? Mostly I am used to have a lot of copies for many years to show similar everytime... I don't think they believe you if you say that you are married..

You don't travel much. Fingerprint scanning and facial photos are pretty much in every airport in the world now.

Why don't they just use the automated machines for arrivals ?

Why do they still require multiple paper forms and multiple copies for every trivial or redundant immigration action? Something has to justify the employment.

Don't you just need your passport and your TM6 on your phone for the vast majority of travellers.......?

Wasn't the TM6 replaced by TDAC ?

Right to the point. They already have everything through tdac, the machine can make your pic, and register your fingerprints. The machine could deliver you the authorised stay period stamp or give you an equivalent ticket to show at departure. But again TIT
