I purchased a white t-shirt with Yassar Arafat, and the traditional black and white scarf in the underground market. The Palastinian selling them from his stall was very amused.

Not sure how they could tell if I were a Jew or not, I did have to borrow a kipper for my head when I posted a message to god in the wailing wall.

A Kipper ?

Do they sell fish in that imaginary underground market of yours?

I expect all the Palestinians were smilling seeing you walking around with a fish on your head

A slight change in direction and this article sees things from a different perspective..............

"A growing number of former Israeli generals, intelligence officials and prime ministers are accusing settlers in the West Bank of committing ethnic cleansing with government support. “Once a society behaves this way,” one said, “that society is doomed.”

Major General Eyal Ben-Reuven spent his life fighting for Israel. He survived the Arab-Israeli War of 1973, when his platoon was nearly wiped out, then went on to command a division in the West Bank and lead Israel’s ground forces in the 2006 war against Hezbollah.

But in recent months, he has returned to the Israeli-occupied West Bank, touring the territory with retired generals and former Israeli officials like himself. He has walked through the remains of a Palestinian school looted by Israeli settlers, and listened to Palestinian shepherds and farmers describe being tortured by settlers who seize their livestock and land.

Now Ben-Reuven says he has an entirely different understanding of the risks facing Israel today.

“This, what the settlers are doing here, is the real threat to Israel,” he said, his eyes welling with emotion. “This is more concerning to me than Iran, Gaza or Lebanon.”

Other former high-ranking Israeli officials touring the West Bank with him shared the same indignation.

“This is ethnic cleansing, to put it simply,” Ephraim Sneh, a retired brigadier general and former minister of health, said of Israeli settlers’ attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank".

Whilst the accusation of genocide can be argued against (currently), it’s not possible to argue against ethnic cleansing.

It happened in 1948 and its happening again in the West Bank every day by the settlers, state sanctioned/financially supported) and it’s fairly clear the IDF (possibly the most immoral army in the world) is complicit.

I read an article on how Mark Ruffalo criticized the state of Israel over what it’s doing in Gaza only to be called anti-Semitic.

There a couple of quotes in that article that resonated with me.

It is much more effective in terms of controlling the narrative to try to go after the critics. And they’ve done this in a very wide variety of ways, but accusing their critics of anti-Semitism is one of the oldest tactics

https://aje.news/so7lal

Another major tactic of many pro-Israel groups to “distract” from criticism of Israel is to attack Muslims and play up the so-called “threat of Islam”

Thats not "Underground" though is it .

I didn't disagree that there is a market there , I disagreed that it was underground .

Its a market, its not an underground market

Weird.

I just heard Israel is an independent country, not a vassal state of the US.

Then why does the US have to give $3-20+B/y in military equipment to Israel?

Saudi Arabia pays for their US military equipment with their own money

I thought Jews are smarter and more successful than Arabs?!?

Hmmm. 🤔

Israel no doubt has the money to buy their own weaponry but they realize that their scam has been successful. By spending 2 billion a year to lobby America through covert and secret organizations, rather than 20 billion a year in direct purchase for weaponry and munitions. Clever. Morally depraved, but clever.

I walked all around Jericho, Bethlehem and the underground market in Jerusalem without being attacked.

In Jericho, where we had been advised to avoid as dangerous, the Palestinians were surprisingly friendly and helpful.

And getting lost looking for the church of the Nativity near Bethlehem, we stopped to ask a Palestinian for directions, he jumped in our car (much fear, no common language), and directed us by pointing, then wouldn't accept any money when we arrived.

Every Palestinian I've ever met has been absolutely delightful. And that's quite a contrast to their Israeli counterparts.

You must mean kippah, the traditional Jewish skull cap also called a yarmulke.

If you ever need to borrow a Jewish male head covering, get the term straight. Some Jews would be offended if you called it a kipper.

Because they live a lie promulgated by exterminationist neo national socialists and their allies in the hate usa/western civilization movement.

a lie

"These blood libels, which have been spread by anti-Israel progressives for decades before the latest war, are meant to distract from the evil that was perpetrated on Oct. 7, 2023, and strip the memory of the Holocaust from the Jewish people and weaponize it against them. The survival rate of Jews under Nazi control in Europe was roughly 30% — and only because they did not have time to finish the job. The survival rate for Arab civilians during the Gaza war was somewhere around 99%.

There is no genocide. And there was no famine. There was a war. And the bad guys lost"

Yep. losers.

Pew poll: 44% of Muslim Americans view Hamas favorably

Muslim respondents were also less likely than members of the other groups to hold favorable views of Israelis

Yes, those settlers actions are even berated, admonished and disliked by many Israelis, they are the equivalent of those Palestinian terrorists and many in Israel are not happy with them.

For the brainwashed muslims, there is nothing in this life but Allah, Muhammed and the Quran, and are willing to die for it as did those suicide bombers and terrorist groups who has nothing to lose, but looking forward to die as martyrs and the afterlife with 72 virgins in heaven.

IMHO all religious people have been brainwashed.

Religions (Judaism, Catholicism, Islam, Christianity) teach that god is all good.

Yet the religious texts tell another story, he’s typically a jealous, vindictive, vengeful and evil god killing innocents with abandon.

I apply a test of goodness to religions and all the ones here fail that test.

Additionally, texts attributed to him aren’t even scientifically accurate, in fact, demonstrably false.

In Judaism their god told them they were the chosen people and non-Jews (Goyim) would ultimately be their slaves. You would think that alone would tell any Jew their god is unfair, preaches inequality and in such case unworthy of worship.

To be religious you must first abandon common sense and intelligence.

As an Israeli I would expect you to generalize about the Palestinian people. It's been drilled into you guys since you were infants. Just a polite reminder that a very small percentage of the Palestinian population are militants.

You may not understand that but they're actual human beings and they're not rabid vicious animals. The Holocaust was supposed to have taught a certain level of tolerance but all those lessons seem to have been forgotten in Israel.

Don't know where you get this interpretations, I'd a link please,

but the real interpretations of those quotes are that the goyem ( non jewish) will

come to help voluntarily, not forced slavery, I can quote you the verse in hebrew

if you like.

Which of my opinions stated would you like a link to?

All us Goyim are just itching to volunteer to be your slaves, especially those you are ethnically cleansing in Gaza, the West Bank and those whose homes you’ve razed in Lebanon, and the remainder of those 9 countries you have bombed so far this year.

A just god would be all good, elevating one nation above others could not be something he would do. So this idea is proof of either he is not a just god, or he doesn’t exist. I subscribe to the latter since the Torah is full of other pseudo science.

Of course. Being utterly oppressed since 1948 is going to cause some blowback, some people just don't understand that concept.

So you're saying that Israel, just like this, got up this morning and started a war with 9 counties? Israel have nothing better to do than to war with 9 countries, yes? have you forgotten to take your medications? and yes, I'd like a link to all that rubbish you're spreading in here, otherwise, just keep it to yourself ok?

Could only find 7 Countries/Territories since 7th Oct 2023, Israel winning friends in the Middle East.

I suppose you could also include the couple of International Peace supply convoys they attacked in the Mediterranean.

Which countries has Israel attacked since 7 October 2023?

Israel has launched a number of attacks since the Hamas attacks of October 2023, targeting several countries and territories across the Middle East. The latest of these was Qatar, after Israel launched an attack on Doha which it said targeted Hamas leadership. Others include the occupied Palestinian territories, Iran, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen.
