notice you take a collagen "tablet"...should be at least 5 grams with vitamin C with some people ingesting even much higher levels. can google it to find optimum depending on what you are hoping to address with collagen supplement. Best of luck and keep up the regular exercise... ANY alcohol is not good for the liver, just saying as more and more studies show that as alcohol is poison.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Collagen: Yes, and it is a vitamin-C combination...👍— but from where to you get the "at least 5 grams" info..?
Alcohol/wine: Some of the World's oldest people have modestly enjoyed alcohol — including the present late record owner — some of my health addicted friends however died young. So, I'm enough religious pastafari to believe in 'healthy pirate rum and a beer volcano in Heaven', wherefore I enjoy a glass of wine or two for candlelight supper, while still enjoy living this 'middle world' life, before I move up...😇

Don't forget,: The purpose of our lives is to be happy...😉

Absolutely, happiness is the strength for longevity IMHO. As for Collagen, suggest you google "Collagen doses" and then "collagen, benefits". These will tell you there are some 28 different kinds of collagen. Also will tell you the recommended doses, etc. easy to find. As for wine, yeah even Dr. William Li mentions a glass or so during meal as beneficial. As for me, I do not ingest any alcohol nor any drugs during my lifetime. As a govt employee being assigned around the world, including Africa and Central America and had to get tons of shots as well as even going to civilized countries and all those shots may also have contributied to my well being. Anyway. keep at it and good and healthy life!

True confessions. I take Kirkland Super B Complex and sublingual B12 from Shopee.

How do I know they're real? A key indicator for B vitamins is dark yellow pee. The B12 looks the same and tastes the same as my original from Costco.

The B12 is methycobalamin, the most easily absorbed (but still just 10% even sublingual). If you're swallowing B12, you don't absorb anything. Injectable is better at 1,000mcg but in Thailand they only have cyanocobalamin (which route in cyanide). I self-injected for two years.

That's not to say there are no fakes. But I'll continue to order until I get a bad one.

Thanks. I've already tried to search, no suggested dose is generally to be found — and I'm not into skin-care, where it's said that you need high dose. I use 500mg within my mentioned balance of various nutritional supplements. We can check again in 23 years to see if my balanced worked Okay.

I'm often out in the party-nightlife and never touch alcohol there — feeling great being sober and able to drive home — and I'm not addicted to any kind of drugs, apart from the "be happy"-drug...😊

strange! I just checked again, googled "Collagen doses" and it says skin, hair nails - 2.5-5 grams daily, joint and bone support - 5-10 grams daily, muscle mass and recovery - 10-15 grams daily, and undentured Collagen - 40 milligrams for knee joint health. The AI source at the end even as specifically what you are looking for and it will advise what is the recommended.

If you're taking B complex you don't need more B 12. B 12 does absorb through stomach proteins and is available also in meat, dairy, fish, and eggs. Sublingual still has you swallowing much of the vitamin, which is then absorbed through the intestines with the stomachs help. Light yellow, or what some call fluorescent yellow, means B vitamins. I had that a lot when I used to take extra B vitamins, before I stopped, knowing if you eat a varied diet you'll get enough B. Dark urine is usually from dehydration or certain foods.

I'm 69. My mother was a career nurse, my brother is a retired vascular tech, and I am well educated in medicine. Anything that may be in my medicine cabinet or taken by me has been thoroughly researched and cleared through credible research and my trusted medical advisors. You know, real doctors with degrees, and bonafide peer reviewed research studies. As such, each and every item serves its useful purpose, from NSAIDs (Ibuprofen etc) to antacids to vitamins to specific prescriptions when necessary. If you come to this forum for medical advice of any sort, it is unreliable personal anecdotal info based on each individual's personal experiences and non scientific assumptions and conclusions. Coming here is no substitute for your own personal research and effective health management. At the very least there is an infinite universe of expensive and worthless products and supplements making their benefactors filthy rich based on the false beliefs of customers. Think Alex Jones's supplement empire at Infowars. At the worst you can end up sick from unregulated crap that your body never needed in the first place. So, 3 things.

1. Balanced diet.

2. Bonafide medical advice.

3. Bonafide research as per your personal needs.

Forget everything else except maybe trading recipes here. Good luck, chok dee.

Wow--nightlife! Forgot about the whole concept. Don't drink, either.

Vegetarian. Anything extra is peed out. On my recent CBC, I was mildly anaemic, not irons, but either B12 or folate so I'm working on them.

those of us in the 50+ crowd

I'm not on any prescribed medication, it's only recently I've started taking supplements, omega 3.

Haven't taken any paracetamol for years, just some carbon tablets if I get poisoned which is extremely rare.

I eat lots and lots of fruit and vegetables.

These days trying to eat more protein.

Only packaged food in the house is muesli, cereal, some tins of salmon

Number 3 is where many fail. 99% of the time when I see a doc, I know much more than they do in regards to my health.

Yep, that's why i think discussing health issues with AI Gemini in particular is better than seeing a Dr in most cases

50x better and you learn so much in the process. It will go off the rails at times but the more you do it, the easier it gets to get AI back on track. My AI Doctor GEM (individual AI module) has all my medical history going back 20 years, exercise regimen, and diet. AI remembers minute details. Good luck with a doctor even understanding your current blood work as it pertains to your history.

If a Dr is busy they won't even be able to check your info prior to you going in the room = inadequate service

I go to labs and when I go to hospitals, most now have an option to email results to you in Thailand and never see a doctor if possible. In America you are forced to see a doctor in most situations which is outrageously expensive and a huge waste of time. I popped into a hospital last month without an appointment and got HR scans (CT scan) and was in and out in 30 minutes. They emailed me the results and that was the end of it.

If I went to a doctor and told them I was concerned about my liver and kidneys they would schedule the basic liver tests and creatinine based EGFR for my kidneys 100% of the time. These tests are cheap but completely worthless for extremely healthy and muscular individuals that train hard. I know the tests I need and spend the extra money to get them.

Found a good shop on Tiktok shop, can't see them on Lazada

The Thai FDA certificate on each bottle checks out on the official FDA website

Also DrPong shop checks out
