There's a possibility the families nationality was not known until questions were asked while recording a video after seeing the Israeli flag banned sign.

Personally, seeing my home countries flag in a no entry sign would make me turn around and leave realising i was not welcome. I prefer a quiet, no confrontational life where possible these days.

All businesses OFFER goods or services for sale. None are mandated to actual sell their offerings.

It is up to the individual business.

As we all know the family in question knew the parks policy. But decide to go and make a scene anyway. Nul Point

It always seems to follow the same pattern with Israelis — and not just in Thailand. I have followed several similar incidents reported in the media, for example in Switzerland, Germany and the Philippines etc,

It is simply a sad fact that this particular group repeatedly displays disgusting and domineering behavior toward employees. Then the situation escalates, and the Israeli pulls his famous ace out of his sleeve: you hate Jews. Suddenly, the claim is that he was racially insulted and that Nazi slogans were used. Naturally, the media are then brought into the picture as well.

A small example is the singer Gil Ofarim. He posted a video accusing a hotel employee in Leipzig/ Germany of treating him antisemitically because he was wearing a Star of David necklace. The video went viral and caused nationwide outrage in Germany. The public prosecutor's office later charged Ofarim with defamation. After the hotel's CCTV footage was reviewed, his account was shown to be false, and the hotel employee was ultimately fully acquitted.

As I said, stories like this keep coming up again and again.

No. It is not blowback. It is a wrongful act.

Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand B.E. 2560 (2017), Thailand

CHAPTER III. Section 27:

All persons are equal before the law, and shall have rights and liberties and be protected equally under the law. Men and women shall enjoy equal rights. Unjust discrimination against a person on the grounds of differences in origin, race, language, sex, age, disability, physical or health condition, personal status, economic and social standing, religious belief, education, or political view which is not contrary to the provisions of the Constitution, or on any other grounds shall not be permitted.

The government haspreviously stated that discrimination based upon religion is unacceptable.

Exactly, how dare they, mistreating people of the only democracy in the Middle East with the most moral and human rights abiding basic law.

Basic Law: Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People

1 — Basic Principles

A. The land of Israel is the historical homeland of the Jewish people, in which the State of Israel was established.

B. The State of Israel is the national home of the Jewish people, in which it fulfills its natural, cultural, religious, and historical right to self-determination.

5 — Ingathering of the Exiles

The state will be open for Jewish immigration and the ingathering of exiles.

6 — Connection to the Jewish people

A.     The state will strive to ensure the safety of the members of the Jewish people and of its citizens in trouble or in captivity due to the fact of their Jewishness or their citizenship.

7 — Jewish Settlement

A. The state views the development of Jewish settlement as a national value and will act to encourage and promote its establishment and consolidation.

Sorry, but you complaining about discrimination while defending a country with THIS (see above) basic law is as hypocritical as it can get.

Spot on.

Just imagine if a Nazi family in the 1930s were denied service somewhere abroad.

The exact same logic applies in this case.

Radical Zionists and their cheerleaders are living in a fantasy world.

To be accurate, your metaphor should state 'German' instead of 'Nazi'.

A Nazi family would be a family that willingly signed up to the ideology of the National Socialist Party. They might be easier to identify because dad would likely be wearing a fetching swastika armband or lapel pin. Indeed, it would be satisfying to tell them they were not welcome somewhere.

But a random German family in the 1930s, however, might find Nazi ideology repellent, despite being from Germany.

Fast forward to this storm in a teacup: how do we know that this Israeli family support the appalling actions of Netanyahu and his clique? Perhaps they are disgusted by it and have come to Thailand to get away from it all? Or is it a binary 'All Israelis are evil oppressors" and "All Palestinians are innocent victims"? I do hope not.

Around two thirds of the land is unregistered, giving rise to plenty of disputes. But the issue I was referring to is sovereignty, not private ownership.

Roughly 33% to 38% of the land in the West Bank is formally registered with clear title.

  • Area C Concentration: The vast majority of unregistered land sits within Area C (which covers about 60% of the West Bank), precisely where Israel's cabinet decision aims to launch state-driven land registration.

It does not matter if that area is registered or not.

It is located in the WEST BANK, which is a part of the of the proposed independent Arab state and currently belongs to Palestinians.

Israel has no right to settle on it and steal it.

Same as Laos or Vietnam cannot just go and settle in Thailand justifying it with the fact that many large areas, including national parks, forest reserves, public domains, and certain rural or agricultural zone, are unregistered by the Thailand Department of Lands.

The way you guys justify your crimes is unbelievable:

This is our land, God promised it 3000 years ago.

We take this land now, because the people who have owned it for centuries have not registered it.

(they have not registered their land because because they have no effective land department, which is because they have no real government which is because they have no independent state, which is because we have never allowed them to have one.)

This is why we are the haves and they are the have nots.

So according to you it would be OK to discriminate against Palestinan people in Thailand because of that?

I will add that if Israel was an Arab state and the exact same things had happened, the issue would be a nothing burger globally.

While the genocide was going on, I saw videos of Rabbies, old fashioned Jews in black, protesting against the war and being beaten by Netanyahu's police. Israel is still a demo country but now in the hands of right wing fascists.

Israel is the Cambodia of the Middle East. It's been pretending to be a democracy and they do have elections, but they don't have freedom of the press, everything is censored, and like you said the dissenters are taken care of.

Even in America you get ridiculed for dissenting against Israeli policy, and the same applies to this forum. Whatever you do don't disagree with Israeli policy nor their extremist practices.

I wonder what kind of welcome the average Palestinian would get at the one of the national museums in Israel?

Disgusting? And the slaughtering of women and children in Gaza is not disgusting?

I've been called a lot of things but I can't remember the last time I've been called disgusting. Someone actually did have an ax to grind recently and they called me white trash, I found that really funny. I certainly think the term applies to men like Donald Trump, Vance and Stephen Miller, but I kind of question whether or not I am white trash. But it was amusing nonetheless. It's cool, unlike some very insecure men, I can handle an insult.

Israeli tourists abroad have had a bad reputation in their own country for many years, not surprising their reputation as spread as they have.

2011, Haretz:

"The Problem With Israeli Travelers

No matter where you go in the world, Israelis are easily identifiable: they’re rude, impatient and make a lot of noise. Such behavior gives Israel and Jews a bad name. But things don’t have-to stay that way."

You'll have to register to read the article but readers comments are visible:

"As an Israeli living in Sydney, I cringe when I hear young Israelis are moving into my building, because I know they'll be loud, rude and have no consideration for anyone or anything but their own amusement. They are not on drugs, they simply come out of a society that has taught them to take what they want and to hell with the law or anyone else's rights."

Times of Israel 2025:

"Part of the tension is rooted in cultural differences. Grinberg explains that “in Thai culture, there’s a concept called kreng jai, where they are very accommodating and absorbing, and don’t confront and aren’t direct. And then what happens is that at some point they can’t take any more and it explodes.”

The problematic behaviors commonly associated with Israeli tourists include loud socializing late into the night, inappropriate clothing, aggressive gestures, arguments, and haggling — practices that may cause discomfort in other parts of the world but are wholly unfamiliar and unwelcome in Thai culture."

The modern state of Israel was declared by a generation that learned its attitudes from the Nazis, and passed them on to subsequent generations.........that's not going to make them popular anywhere but home.

Don´t project your own traits onto others.

Representatives of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) have stated that a future Palestinian state would

  • not discriminate based on religion.

  • would allow individuals of any faith, including Jews, apply for residency or citizenship

  • only oppose illegal occupation and political status of settlements rather than an individual's Jewish identity.

But I´ll guess we´ll never know as Israel does everything to prevent an Arab state with impunity while asking the whole world to confirm Israels right to exist.

How many times do you need to have that same discussion ?

You have the same discussion with the same people where you both say exactly the same thing as you said last time .

You are going to say that 70 000 people have been killed .

I am going to say that terrorists were targeted .

You are going to say schools and hospitals were targetted

I will then say Hamas hid in schools and hospitals .

You will then say there is no evidence of that , to prove that you will mention beheaded babies in ovens.

I will then say Israel never claimmed that .

You will then mention Joe Biden claimed it was true ......and on and on and on it will go .

Same as last time .

How many times do you need to go through the process ?
