All my LEX deliveries are failing - But look at the timings!

Yes, but interesting to see that certain people always report problems while others are quite happy with Lazada. In my opinion the location of the buyer is a major factor.

I have no doubt that this is the issue here. We are on the "wrong" side of the river from the LEX depot so it's a bit of a trek to us.

Good luck playing games with a 77Kg box!

Almost killed me the first time it arrived dented, 3 weeks later back still hurts.

I did shop a lot of at Lazada and wife at Shoppe, but after some incidents with Lazada I have gone to Shoppe also. Have got used to Shoppe homepage on computer but always order from the app. LEX seems not to deliver anymore at our place, only Flash and KEK. Now we we also have Macro PRO homedelivery from Rayong, free over 1000 B and discount.

In any case, I think the problem stems from the fact that there are 65 million people living in this country and they are ordering more and more online.

The delivery services can no longer cope. That is the problem.

Exactly. The problem appears to be with the carrier/courier rather than Lazada itself. According to the tracking details, my most recent Lazada orders were delivered by 'Kerry' and 'Cainiao', and both deliveries were completed without any issues.

Latest email from Lazada, they can't even get the order date correct!

image.png

This order is showing as "In line haul" which from earlier experience suggests that they have misplaced it.

If above was translated Thai to English and the year was the error translators like google translate often incorrectly convert thai years to gergoian in my experience.

Actually, the Thai part of the email does not contain a year at all.

But this error is basic programming and should not occur.

And yes, I am extremely pi55ed with Lazada / LEX at present.

I've never had a problem with ordering hundreds of items from Lazada COD Ratchayothin, Bangkok in over 14 years.

Yeah, going COD forces the driver to actually do his job, it's one of the suggested methods to ensure delivery.

Tip the delivery guy to help you.

It needed five to easily carry it, delivery driver brought his girlfriend, and the waited for my wife and son to come home.

No tip, as they required our help.

Tips are for drivers that bring enough hands with them!

For the most part I've had little trouble with LEX deliveries partly due to the fact that the normal courier is very reliable.

But earlier in the year I had two failed deliveries with a different (new?) courier, one of which was marked recipient unavailable, at about 11am even though we had received no phone call. My wife tried to call the courier's number but they wouldn't answer. Later they did call back but hung up immediately as soon as my wife answered. This was presumably to cover themselves when questioned why the package hadn't been delivered. Also, the photo that was supplied as reference for the failed delivery was of another foreigner's package! This made me believe that this "new" driver was sorting through the packages and refusing to deliver any with foreign names. And that is coming from someone who is not normally cynical about such things...

Same here, “delivery failed due to overload” + warehouse photo.

It could take 3 attempts.

Yesterday's failed re-delivery said there was one more attempt.

Then, later, the item was shipped back to the seller!!

My package will arrive in the next hour or so they said 2 hours ago on the app.

Nothing new there.

Until I get a phone call or hear the screeching of modified pickup brakes in the soi i will remain dubious 🤨

It has happened to my packages twice, but actually they were delivered before it was shipped back to the seller. There is a possibility that you receive it soon. They can’t just return packages based on UN their own disability.

Sadly they are playing the "Recipient requested cancellation" game (I didn't of course) which automagically triggers a refund.

I have two deliveries pending, one a re-delivery, the other is actually a re-order of one that failed earlier. I am not holding my breath for either of them.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Well, I must have jinxed myself by saying I've never experienced the type of problem being talked in this thread because it just happened to me here in western Bangkok. The item attempted to be delivered costs less than Bt60 and just some clean wipes to use when installing a new phone screen protector....the product would fit inside a standard letter envelope....very small and light.

What I find very interesting is the reason for the failed delivery....it clearly states the delivery was unsuccessful due to the delivery driver being overloaded and a picture is also included showing the inside of a warehouse. To me this shouts "we (the delivery company) are having major delivery problems."

LEX who is the company owned by Lazada is total mess . I had issues with delivery taking more than a week , even when item is from a seller in Bangkok and delivery address in same city .They send a picture saying 'overload at depot ' message. But Infact I eventually found out the real reason being 'dont have enough couriers '. And that is because they are too cheap and saving money to employ enough couriers. That is the real reason for delays.Infact there have been occasions when LEX had to transfer item to Flash express for delivery .

These issues have to stop? Show of hands, who thinks it's time to criminalize free delivery?

I do wonder how anyone makes any $$$.

Order from Shopee, and if they don't deliver today I get a 30Baht voucher.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

I never buy from Lazada if it states " Seller Delivers or Lex "
Had problems with FLASH and their " Customer requests change of delivery date " lies.
Now with Lazada , every time I want to log in on my desktop , they send me a link on my phone to verify it is me . more faffing about.
I use Shopee now and the SPX delivery firm are 24 hours quicker than FLASH.

I think a lot depends if you have a regular LEX delivery guy. The same guy has been delivering to my condo bldg. for 3 years. He always calls and just hangs-up because he knows I'll recognize his number, I text back "OK".

When he's working, never a problem. He took a few weeks off earlier this year (he actually texted me: "go holiday 2 week) and I made it a point not to order anything. I leave him a tip at New Year as he has never failed me. Reading this, I hope he doesn't get caught up in the obvious turmoil.

Absolutely. My LEX driver in Jomtien delivers to several clusters of condo complexes, including mine. One stop and he unloads a dozen or so packages. A driver in a rural area has to find and deliver to an individual house for each package. I single delivery netting him B10-15 can probably take close to 30 minutes or more.

Had the same with a rushed and feeble looking photo showing an “ overloaded warehouse “

But don’t despair, there is hope !

My package arrived yesterday in line with their original estimated delivery of 26-28th Aug.

Seems like, in my case, they created a problem that didn’t exist !!

Good points above, we seem to have lost our regular LEX guy earlier this year and have random chaps (when they bother to turn up).

The dogs tell us when the regular FLASH chap enters the village, they hear his rather loud bike before he gets around to calling. He always makes a fuss of the barkers yappers (killer Chihuahuas) so they are happy to see him.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

If you think Shopee is any better, think again.

This is the third parcel this year Shopee Express lost, being assigned to a driver for 2 days already. Been to the warehouse, and they can't locate it.

image.png

The previous one 3 months ago was a centrifugal pump, that departed from the sorting centre but never arrived at the last mile.

Last month I had an inexpensive return, and they disabled the pick-up option to select, so they expected me to spend money on petrol to get my money back.

Took 10 days in the chat for them to agree and arrange Flash to pick up. Then Flash started to lie for a week that they called me I didn't pick up the phone.

After almost 3 weeks I destroyed the item and sent them a picture of it, and told them they could keep the money as I would post everything on social media.

Then a few days later a Flash driver showed up, but the destroyed item I had nicely packed.

Told him to take a picture of it, after which I threw it in an inaccessible wasteland near my home. It has half meter high grass and can not be accessed because hedges all-around. So the parcel was never picked up.

Then Shopee support claimed they had received the item and they refunded me 😂

The 30 baht voucher is a hoax, because you never can use it, since it can't be combined with other vouchers.

If you use the Shopee app, you will always have a voucher worth more than 30 baht, and you can't add the late delivery voucher.
