Just had my 2nd item delivered, both of which had suffered the “ delivery attempt failed “ syndrome some two weeks apart.

Strangely both were delivered within their original delivery estimate and no signs of any disruption other than the 2 photos in a warehouse somewhere and the “ delivery attempt failed “ messages.

In other words for me it was business as usual without any delays.

It is almost as if they are covering their behinds by creating an excuse in case anything untoward does happen.

Funny, I was supposed to get popcorn delivered 2 days ago. When I checked the listing, it said delivery attempt was unsuccessful , by LEX TH. I was home all day and no one called. I messaged Lazada, who are their go betweens and they said they would talk to them. It came the next day by Kerry, which is strange in itself. This was the 4th time LEX TH said they attempted delivery and didn't try nor call. laziness, wanting to go home early as where I live is at the end of their routes.

If you check the delivery photos you will probably see that they are taken in their ( presumably LEX ) own warehouse and delivery never attempted.

They should start using a new excuse like “ delay in delivery expected “ or this item could be delayed “ to make things clearer.

I just keep getting the same messages. When this happened with Kerry, they said they had a lot of deliveries that day and would come the next day, but LEX just says attempted even though they never did. I don't know how Kerry ended up with the delivery.

I live in CM City and use both Lazada and Shopee and have never experienced any such serious delivery delays!

The LEX problem has not been going on long, maybe a month or so....

But for many years, LEX was fantastic......

If the driver's pay was really cut by 50% I dont see LEX ever getting better till they start paying the drivers a decent wage...

Now I have 3 packages sitting in the LEX warehouse....If 2 are not delivered today as promised, I might have to go to the LEX office...For crying out loud, I am not in the boondocks; my condo is not far from Walking Street in Pattaya....

All my packages were hit with that fake tried to deliver nonsense....

The Current Reality in Pattaya

• The "U-Tapao/Sri Racha" Bottleneck: Local residents are tracking their packages arriving as far as the regional sorting centers near Sri Racha or U-Tapao, only for them to sit there indefinitely. The final-mile hubs in Pattaya are severely understaffed or completely abandoned.

• The "Ghost Delivery" Loop: Users are reporting that tracking apps repeatedly show a package is "Out for Delivery," only to update at night to "Delivery unsuccessful due to high volume" or falsely claiming the customer refused delivery. This is a tactic used by the remaining overwhelmed staff to clear system alerts without actually delivering.

I went out to the LEX Pattaya Delivery Depot to try and get my packages....But my trip was a failure.

As you would expect, there were loads of boxes piled up all through the LEX depot...But not up to the ceiling or out the door or anything........YET

The lady working the desk there was none too pleased to see me or help me much, for that matter....

She looked frazzled and her only help was...Just wait, they will deliver....Me saying I have already been waiting a week for the delivery guy fell on deaf ears.....

I saw some Thais pull up in cars who no doubt were also looking for packages....Whether they had better luck than me, I have no idea...

If you speak fluent Thai, you might stand a better chance of success...But then again, maybe not....

Based on the amount of piled-up packages I saw, without a full delivery crew working full time to clear them out

No telling how long those piled-up packages could be sitting there...Days? Weeks? Months? Forever?......

I only saw a few motorcycles with packages heading out...Which is way way ,way ,way less than what's needed there....

I'm in upper Isaan and had a couple of small LEX Monday deliveries rescheduled with "Delivery unsuccessful due to high volume" or words to that effect. Turned up the next day but late afternoon rather than the usual mid-morning deliveries.

Flash usually delivers late afternoon here so nothing's changed in that regard, but the last two deliveries were on unmarked pickups and the last one was so overloaded and unsecured, he couldn't close the tailgate.

Haven't had issues with Shopee deliveries, in fact the last (small) one arrived a day earlier than expected.

Temu order arrived 3 days earlier than their earliest delivery date, via a J&T Express guy on a scooter.

LEX just gets worse. Over 1 week now, after item arrived at depot. And customer service chat just give standard reply about apologize inconvenience,blah blah. They actually change estimated delivery date and moved it back another 3 days.They actually admit ' Due to shortage of staff' Just make sure to buy COD, then there's no hassle getting money back .

Not true. It's been going on all this year.I know. They have no intention of hiring full-time.couriers to deal with problem. They actually prefer to sub contract to Flash Express

I don't know where you live, but until a month ago, LEX delivered packages in Pattaya on time about 99% of the time....At least for me, after 100s of orders....

Now, within hours of a package arriving at the Pattaya LEX driver distribution center, a package is marked as a delivery failure due to high parcel volume ..

And as loads of packages sit in the LEX depot, piling up, not being delivered...The situation can only go from bad to worse...

And this is happening all over Thailand...

Well youre lucky.In Bangkok it's been an issue for many months. Items delayed and often given to another courierwhen delay is a week or more. I know the issue ..they haven't got the staff to deal with the volume.

Well LEX have just delivered a Lazada item to me in Ayutthaya 25 hours after i ordered.

Never have I had anything delivered so quickly from anyone !!

Have they turned it around ?, was this a one off ? time will tell.

Probably a one-off....your order probably hit all the gates just right. The vendor packed it very soon after placing the order...the order was picked up quickly....distance from vendor to you was not that far...etc...etc...etc. I've had a couple of similar deliveries over the years...deliveries in less than 24 hours and they were not express/priority shipping....just standard deliveries.

Don't get your hopes up too high that all future deliveries will be "lickety-split." 😄

It's hit or miss, I got an overnighter today.

Incidentally. I have an order being delivered by Flash Express, and at 20:34 in the pouring down rain, it still says "out for delivery"

I can set my watch by Flash, 11:30am, leave it on the table.

Sounds like a "dispute delivery" would apply to an item coded as being delivered and then a person would want to dispute the actual delivery like maybe it was not actually delivered, delivered item is damaged, etc. But you said the two deliveries failed and was coded as such so what is there to dispute at this point in time?

Yes, I saw these delivery dispute buttons for the first time yesterday too...

One package of mine has been sitting at the Pattaya delivery center for 2 weeks now, with 2 fake we tried to deliver attempts....

I got tired of waiting and reordered the item from China 4 days ago and the purchase is already in Thailand...Shopee should deliver in 1-2 more days....

If the Lazada package ever gets delivered, it will give me great pleasure to refuse the delivery....lol

2 other Lazada packages finally got delivered, but both were 5 days late...

I simply will not order from Lazada anymore unless I have no other choice....
