Prostitution and Male Dominance

OK, that progression is what I expected. You liked young women as we all did when young. As you got older, you still wanted young women which is understandable but I understood the odds of success was slim in a relationship where the woman is 25 years younger. You used her for her youth and both initially were happy with the long-term relationship that is almost identical, other than length, to a short time bar girl.

I've been here since I was 30 and have seen so many go the route you did and only "two" had successful relationships. Those two were/are wealthy, intelligent, and fun men. They kept delivering what the lady needed primarily which was security. All the rest ended like your relationship did and it was a drawn out hell for both parties. It takes a rare individual that can create a loving relationship with someone younger than their children. That individual isn't deluded and knows what works.

I don't think I used her for her youth as I've always been in good health and shape and she found a decent man who takes care of his family. Yes, the odds of success are smaller with that much of a gap but it still depends on the couple.

Most relationships fail anyway at all different ages. Of all the relationships I've ever had, almost all of them were at or very close to my age.

My mistake was not vetting her long enough, and having a child with her. My ex had everything a woman needs from me. Her childhood abuse and neglect had her damage all of her relationships, as it's doing now. She's married and has 4 boyfriends. Has hit everyone she's been with and cheated on all. Her family told me things that I wished I'd known earlier. That was my mistake as I said. Not taking longer to get to know who she really was.

The reason people stay together isn't about age but similar future plans, honesty and trust, and communication.

Here, I'll give you an excerpt so it's easier. It took me less than 10 minutes to read this important topic, because I care about women in general.........................

Catharine MacKinnon talked earlier about gender cleansing: murdering prostitutes. She is right. Prostituted women are women who are there, available for the gynocidal kill. And prostituted women are being killed every single day, and we don’t think we’re facing anything resembling an emergency. Why should we? They’re no one. When a man kills a prostitute, he feels righteous. It is a righteous kill. He has just gotten rid of a piece of dirt, and the society tells him he is right.

There is also a specific kind of dehumanization experienced by women who are prostituted. Yes, all women experience being objects, being treated like objects. But prostituted women are treated like a certain kind of object, which is to say, a target. A target isn’t any old object. You might take pretty good care of some objects that you have around the house. But a target you go after. You put the dart in the hole. That’s what the prostitute is for. What that should tell you is how much aggression goes into what a man does when he seeks out, finds, and uses a prostituted woman.

As many Thai bar girls say.

You fink to mutt.

First visited Thailand in my Merchant Navy days 1983, with going to sea in 1977 seen many waterfront bars, started living in Thailand 2004 when working offshore Indonesia 2004 for "Tax reasons" (UK 90day rule) retired in 2015 moving up to my retirement home in the village built without a woman,

What has this got to do with prostitutes??

Many times have seen exploitation going more in favour of the lady who is selling access to the highest bidder and good luck to her doing so.

Talking about violence against prostitutes, there is more violence done to men by men, the evidence is here in ASEAN on a daily basis, many pictures.

When younger and living Phuket/Pattaya 2004-2015 enjoyed the pleasures that a woman can and do give, wish them all a good future.

There's no denying what prostitutes go through, and this topic, along with countless others, points this out rather well. That some will deny it is obvious. Are they the ones who go with prostitutes and only see them as a commodity?

Yes there is all types of violence human against human, but many look at prostitutes as that lower form of human. To be used, exploited and sometimes killed. All this topic was, was showing how some males look at them, lowering them down to that level where they aren't worthy of anyone but being used and tossed aside.

The only way anyone could rebut this is to show where she was wrong, and not that she's a fat woman who might hate men. if something is factual, it doesn't matter if it comes from her, a homeless person or Donald Trump. You cannot legitimately comment on this topic unless you read it through, and look outside your thinking if you're one who goes with hookers, as that creates bias.

OK, Like I said prior, I like you but we just have very different opinions on women. Age is a "huge" factor in relationships and ignoring this is futile. Some get this and deliver what is needed. I bet all the women you dated here in Thailand with maybe a rare exception were much younger than you after you hit 55. No issue with that just saying....

I've only been with four here. My ex, girlfriend and two others who were all in their 40's. I fully agree that ages closer makes a relationship easier, as you'll be in the same generation and likely have alike thinking and interests. When we return home, I will most likely end up with a woman at least 55 or so, but finding an older woman there who takes care of herself and has had man troubles before is rather easy. Like many men, I still like them younger, and at our age, many let themselves go, which leaves the ones who don't looking for one the same. They'll also be more independent back home, instead of looking for money it will be companionship.

The article is truthful, and again, mirrors many that say the same things. Like any other, it's open for dispute. Not from prejudice but using facts. What she said, although it's an older article, again mirrors what others have said who have interviewed thousands of sex workers in many countries. When you want answers that are legitimate, you research many that say the same things before you make a decision. I also provided links that are similar. there are many available, if a person is interested in knowing the truth. As far as the article itself, not a smart thing to comment on a topic unless you read the whole thing, AND can comprehend it,

To all readers here. Please read the article before you comment on it. I've stated that I believe what it says, and all I'm receiving is that it's not right, partly right, look at who wrote it, and comments to me because they have a history with me which has nothing to do with this topic. If you want to make a legitimate comment, feel free, posting evidence against something that she wrote, or of the other links I provided.

Anything here can easily be researched online, but some won't bother because they live by their own code, and if that's to use women and not care about the aftereffects of women in prostitution, they have no business commenting anyway. Some of us here have families, wives and girlfriends, and especially daughters, and consider women as partners and not objects of our own pleasure.

Well good luck with that but I have known some sexy older ladies back in the states that are around 55 and none over 60. THey exist but finding them and them being interested in a much older guy (10-15 years older like yourself) that isn't extremely successful financially is going to be nearly impossible. If you are 60 and sexy in the states, you are in extremely high demand. You have these stories in your head that aren't reality. It is defensive mechanism which is fine I guess but how has this type of logic worked in the past.

You aren't going to change. You are authentic which is commendable and have good intentions. Good luck.

When I left Texas, I had girlfriends that were younger than me. It's only been 9 years and when I visited my family, I met two who were in their late 40's who were friends of my daughter and interested in when I was returning. Divorced women who had cheating husbands and good careers.

I don't have stories nor have ever lied on this forum. It's fine that some might not believe me as they don't know me and are judging me by what they know in their lives, which isn't valid but their opinions.

What would you, and others , think, if you knew I was as genuine as I come across here? That I'm always good to women and treat them and my children with respect and love, and that my choices of but a few women out of all of the ones I've been with, have been the mistakes I made, and it's the same mistakes millions of men do.

I've admitted many times it was my own poor choices in those few, and I've been labeled all along by those few here, who no one here gets along with and who derail most topics because of their illness.

I have left clues all along, with only a couple here showing their own insecurities and attacking my character, which usually comes from a deep rooted mental illness, NPD or worse, as happy people do not attack others because their lives aren't what they see in theirs.

Like I mentioned, if you disagree with this topic, state why, but don't attack the messenger just because he doesn't like to see women as victims. That's a thing all men should share.

It´s not living by my own code. I just told you that a man that proclaim so much intelligence and knowledge as you, he must also know how to provide content to people in a form that is easily readable and digested. But as usual, you just can´t agree to anything.

I'm not here to beat you down. It seems like you are going back to the states and plan on doing the same thing that hasn't worked here. Find broken women that are needy. Not a good plan IMO. Is it possible to find a good much younger woman that you seem to need? Yes, and good luck.

When I said that we can tell how a person thinks after they comment, that's a fact. You can see what I believe in when I comment. i didn't say I think everything she wrote was spot on, but the main part I agree with, and a person doesn't have to agree with anyone if they don't want to.

No, I've only been with those two that are broken. The rest were just girlfriends where we didn't have the same future plans so went our separate ways. All of them are considered friends mutually. The problem here was having a child with the wrong woman. Now I'll be looking for a partner who's independent, and there are untold thousands who would love to have a decent man in their lives that doesn't look at women as objects to use but as a companion. I'm not looking at any particular age but one that has taken care of herself all along.

Probably because most foreign men in Thailand use hookers

So you're insulting almost all posters on AN.

And they react accordingly.

Just hurry up and go back to the USA soon.

If you need any help with money, I'm sure most of us would like to help you return.

Where have I insulted anyone here? You have taken time to post negatively about my life without knowing anything more than what I've said here. I know where you found your wife. Have I ever said she was no good? I'm actually the one who said you should try and contact your kids back in England. Most of the members here have wives and girlfriends from what I hear. Some don't, but that's up to them.

If a man finds a bar girl and marries her, he is taking her out of a bad environment and putting her into a much more stable one, so I'm actually complementing you on this. I'm not against men who help women. Only those who hurt them.

No, you have been attacked for a variety of reasons that you refuse to own up to. Some attack due to the length of the article. Others because you have said many times that anyone not willing to read the article must use prostitutes and lack respect for women. Still others attack because you paint with such a broad brush that ALL prostitutes are victims, and that men are to blame. Yet you continue to reply, ad nauseum, that the only thing you ever said was, "Please don't comment unless you read the entire article".

And that fat ugly woman's argument is that working girls have PTSD.

Nowhere near as much PTSD as someone with 3 failed marriages.

Not even close.

You don't attack a person for what they post or if it's long. If you don't want to read it, you don't have to.

Read again what I posted. All of it. I put most of it into one reply earlier. I said anyone not willing to read it should not bother replying, and that makes sense.

I also said what a person says shows how they think. That's also a fact, and it also pertains to me, as I agree with what she wrote as well as others who have written like her.

Look at the main crux of this topic. male dominance over prostitutes. is that a good thing? Yes, I think all prostitutes are victims. That's my belief. if anyone thinks otherwise, that's what I meant by explaining yourself. I never said the only thing I said was please don't comment unless you read the entire article, which of course makes sense by itself.

I'm replying to another who mentioned that. It turned into other things because others didn't reply to the article but to me because I believe what it says, then took to the usual insults. I'm thinking anyone who wants to reply, should read the whole thing and look at what I said from the beginning and all throughout. See how you say fat ugly woman, as if that's a reason to dismiss what she says? Are all believed writers beautiful or handsome? hardly.

Assuming i have PTSD because of 3 ended marriages is way over the top. I'm fine, and have had a decent girlfriend for over 5 years now. I have had custody of all my children, 5 of whom are doing very well in their lives, which shows the stability I gave them . if it doesn't, not having any children is a major reason some might not understand this. if you take all the assumptions thrown at me away, some here wouldn't have anything to say.

No, it's how I feel. I read the whole article and know what it says. Her opinions aren't mine. If you read the article, you'll see much of what she says is valid. I didn't say all of it is. The only way to discern is to actually research more on the subject, as one article isn't a case history of what prostitutes go through. Either is the opinions of those who use them or those that don't. Look at all that's said about Americans, most of which is from bias, lies, hatred and prejudice. When you want to know all about a topic, you don't use one's opinion but look to many that say the same things, then you make a decision.

I haven't seen anything that disputes what she said. Just that she's not attractive, they don't agree, and it's old. None of that means anything. Age has nothing to do with this topic as it's been an ongoing thing all along. That others have done research with the girls and written how they live isn't old news. What she looks like is prejudice without reason to dismiss what she wrote. Don't agree? State why.

Oh I see, well, that's because it's false. Almost no woman working in the sex industry today, in Thailand or anywhere else, was forced into prostitution, they could all have chosen working at 711 or some other menial job. They CHOSE to become whores. They are NOT victims. They are victimising men, who are encumbered by testosterone, and taking their money.

That again doesn't make what she says invalid. You yourself have your views on women that many here have disputed, with some calling you a misogynist. You think otherwise. If you are a misogynist, do you have a valid claim that she is wrong?

Almost no women in Thailand are forced into prostitution? Try over 10%, and likely more. Trafficking isn't the only force as some parents have done this, along with the guilt some girls have in providing for those parents.

You need to research on the reasons why they do before you use your own opinion, especially seeing how you already see women.

Women are not victimizing men besides the greedy and scammers who take men for money ,gold, houses and cars..Having sex with a partner is not the same as paying for it with a hooker. It's usually the other way around. Research, reflect, then see where you're wrong. One out of many, many links, easy to read....https://www.ohchr.org/en/special-procedures/sr-violence-against-women/understanding-prostitution-system-violence-and-exploitation.

Almost no women in Thailand are forced into prostitution? Try over 10%, and likely more

That figure is false. It includes women who were "deceived" and women under the age of 18 automatically as "forced into prostitution". So if someone lied about the salary that's being forced into prostitution? If a 17 year old decides to become a prostitute she's "forced" into it? That figure is a fraud.

Much like Dworkin was a fraud. She talked about freedom, but was really a censorship advocate who would have thrived in Soviet Russia, where she originated.

Dworkin claimed all sex is rape, which to put it mildly is lunatic.

For a man to quote Dworkin is a disgrace not just on an intellectual level, but a total failure of critical thinking.
