Went to Embassy to be refused very quickly first time as not in possession of original Tabien baan and because was asking for a multi-entry (avernight stop in Tokyo on way to Europe fromBangkok and also a short trip to Hong Kong while staying in Japan).

Was told no multi entries for short term visitor's visas, found out later they were giving them for 3rd time applicants onwards

Re-applied with originalTabien bann and revised itinerary

Accepted day 1 visa received day 3 for 18 days stay within 3 months

Was told it will be longer next application

Cheap at 980 baht and quicky, efficient typical Japanese, no fuss but strict and believing in building trust for future applications
