I asked this in the other thread but thought about making a new one for those who live out here.

Does anyone know the location of where the casino buses pick up in Bang Na?

If this is for a visa run as opposed to a day at the tables, beware. I have 2 friends that were forced to leave the bus as a couple of hi-so tossers wanted 2 seats. They were told to get off. As i understand it 1 of them was doing a visa run, but both intended to spend money in the casinos.

Did your friends get on in Bang Na?

Also are there lots of buses stopping there throughout the day or is there a best time to show up?

The bus picks up infront of the 2 tall office buildings beside Big C.

The first bus is at 830-900am

They stop and flash their lights, there was no English sign that said "Casino Bus"

The bus was orange and had a "C" on it.

On the Friday, there were several empty seats,

It was 200 baht for me and 100 baht for wife. (RETURN)

They forgot to give us our buffet tickets but we were able to find the staff in one of the casinos and she sorted us.

At Aranya it was very quick for me tp get through there were no farangs waiting in line.

The Thais were lined up, it took about 10 mins for my wife to stamp out of Thailand.

Once in Poi Pet (boarder) we were smart ebough to ignore everyone who talked to us. Was not smart enough to ignore the boarder guards, they just wasted my time telling me they'd stamp me into Cambodia for a fee when I just had to walk 300 m and stamp myself in. I highly reccommend the Cambodia Evisa. It takes no time to stamp in if you get it in advance. After stamping in to Cambodia, I stamped out right away.

The bus company we used left at 5pm and 7pm (or 730pm I forget)

We spent time in the casinos and took the first bus back at 5pm.

There are maybe 2 black jack tables at the 4 casinos we visited. If anyone knows where there are more black jack tables I'd like to know. Free beer while you are playing...

It was so hot there. Walking 100 m is killer. I recommend an umbrella.

Overall a great time. Will be back in 3 months.

Yeah, I'd feel insulted if that happened to me.

Although come to think of it, the bus is really meant for the casino rollers because it doesn't make sense for them to charge only 200 baht return round trip for a 2 X 4 hour aircon bus ride and give free buffet coupons... unless the casinos are subsidizing the bus for gamblers (and certainly not for visa runners).

We can tell them that we are intending to spend money at the casino, but I'm sure they'd say "yeah..." they've "heard that before". :o

some of them start in Bangna as early as 6am, on the other hand , if u don't speak much thai better take someone who does with you.. i honestly think it is a great service for anyone who is thai ! If you are not , they are the scum of the earth that make Poipet touts look gentlemen :o . And it's not only about doublecharging foreigners, but about most bigot attitudes you may experience as white, if you don't care being "farang monkey" for a while it's fine , it's just me being white, resident in both Cambo & Thailand, makes me cringe worse than the garbage of Poipet.
