Family Hotel In Phuket

Recommended Posts

We will be visiting Phuket with our 3 year old son in October for 2 nights.

Can someone recommend a good quiet hotel with a nice beach?

Thank you.

Best hotel for my money is The Sala Thai, less tha half a block from the beach but great pool/garden and staff that are consistently very very good. Figure around 1,800 baht per night. Located one block north of Bangla Road.

I attended a childrens birthday party at the Movenpick resort in Karon just yesterday. Very nice hotel with some great childcare facilities etc... I was pretty impressed.

Thank you all for the reply. I will look into the hotels recommended.

I've stayed in the Katha Thani hotel 5 years ago which I remember was quite nice. Unfortunately the hotel is fully booked.

How is the Karon Beach Resort?

Fully booked in October ?

Have to talk to their Marketing Manager :o

If you are a Katha Thani Type of Customer try and check out Impiana Phuket Cabana, is directly at the Beach in Patong

un like some people, I don't own a hotel, or work for one. I would compare Bangla in Phuket to Bourbon St. in New Orleans. I recommend 15-20 more minutes in the Taxi and come down to Karon beach, as well as Kata. Kata has fantastic resturant selections, it has a nice beach for sunning and shallow water swimming, and it will allow you to relax and enjoy your trip, and not suddenly begin counting the times you "almost died getting hit by a Red Mini Bus"!

Sorry.

In Karon Kata I would go to Kata Noi. All vans, taxis, tour guides know it. I don't predict a lot of swimming fo your baby, but I would recommend Kata Noi because of the moonlit, surf walks at night. This beach gets rough and the sound can be heard if you crack your door.

Phuket is magic. Anywhere you stay will be fantastic.
