Walking Street Boutique Hotel

Featured Replies

Last year when I was in Pattaya, I came across a small Boutique Hotel (How they described themself). I took a business card and decided I would use them on my return visit. It turns out that I lost the card and can't remember the name of the hotel.

I would appreciate it if anyone can help me. I want to book this hotel before I arrive in Thailand.

What I can remember...

Hotel was near Police Box on the Left side of Walking street. (The left side when the police box is behind you)

Thanks Everyone!

PaulUSA302, I had noticed that place some time ago as well. About

20-30 meters in from the entrance to walking street on the left-hand

side. Two stories, maybe a narrow 7-8 meters across. Well, they just

tore it down. I'm not kidding, last month in the morning I was taking a

little exercise walk down there and the Thai guys were at it with the

sledgehammers. Can't recall what went back up in that location, I'll

have to look next time I'm down there. Strange because the hotel

couldn't have been more than a year or two old. Sorry about that,

it actually did look to be an attractive arrangement. :o

The name is/was La Mer Hotel or De La Mer.

It was located directly across the street from the first 7-11 on Walking Street.

I didn't know it had been torn down.

Yeah, it's gone. Nothing but a big hole where it used to be.

ChuckD is correct, there is still a hotel sign hanging over

the big hole which says "de la mer" 038-711005-7 :o
