Thai Passport

Featured Replies

My girls passport is up for renew, but does she have to do it in person at the thai embassy? or can she do it by post?

Thanks.

Scotty........

you can send an application by post - but she have to pick it up personally. If the embassy is far away than there should be a consulate closer by and she can go there

She lives in phetchabun, so bkk is around 4 hours away.

We will be in bkk soon, but only awaiting for the passport, so if she can apply by post then it gives us an extra 3 days without waiting about for her passport.

She cannot apply for a Thai passport through the post, she must go to one of the Passport Offices in Thailand as they will digitally photograph her. They will, however, return the passport once completed to her home address by courier (for a small fee) if that's easier.

their is no thai embassy in thailand - it sounded that you are rather anywhere else abroad
