I know for sure the one in Phahanyotin (sp) does if you're in Bangkok. Alternatively I've seen here in Pattaya that the driving schools can get it for you for a fee. So maybe they will in Bangkok too?

September 25, 200718 yr yep, IDL can be obtained easily at any department of land transport office if you have a 5 year drivers license. the other thing you can do in australia is get the license translated (I did it myself) and then get the translation certified. Budget rent a car accepted this as proof when we hired a car down in OZ last Christmas.

September 25, 200718 yr Get a certified translation of the Thai licence....that will be acceptable for a period of three months. check with your states RTA or licencing branch first Ensure she knows the local rules first and give her a few run throughs before letting her loose on unsuspecting Aussies.....
