Apartment Or Condo Rental In Patong

Featured Replies

Any of you have a suggestion on renting a condo or apartment or service apartment in Patong?

I was able to find a nice place in Pattaya at the View Talay but Phuket is not so easy it seems.

I do want to stay in the Patong area.

I am trying to stay at or below the 2,000 bht per night rate.

Thanks :o

Hi try www.siamrealestate.com

They have rentals all over Phuket, long term or short term. Also you can put in your specs and when they have a new listing you can get an instant email.

They are also a sponser on Thai Visa!

What length of stay ??

Vacation rental for apartments is pretty tough in Patong, unless you pay very top dollar..

Boy you got that right. BDY Lofts are an option if you are into hefty pricetags.

If you don't mind low end and a walk Sunset Apartments or Sunset Mansion are ok.

You can probably get a 2 bedroom @ Sunset for around 1700B a night. Nice enough management but A/C is only in bedroom & fickle, Kitchen & bathroom is basic, no other facilities.

I stayed at Swiss Palm Beach in Chalerm Phrakiat Road in the northern end of Patong. (behind Graceland). A short walk to the beach.

With one and two bedroom units, they call themselves an apartment hotel. In June (low season), I paid well under 2000.

I often wonder who the phantom star rating person is. :D

I see this innoculous thread asking for recommendations for a place to stay in Patong has been rated at 1 star. Who, and why, would anyone feel it necessary to give it a ranking at all, let alone such a low one? :o If it doesn't interest you, why not just move to the next thread?

Anyone likely to own up?

I've been noticing that on quite a few threads recently. It can be an interesting informative thread, but some moron tends to hack it down on the star ratings! :o

There are loads of rentals available in the Patong Tower. I was visiting my friend the other day and it seems 1/2 the place is vacation rentals. Condo sizes range from 65 sq. m to 100sq. m with basic rates of 2500b/day up to 6,000 depending upon size and finish. A couple people seem to own 15 units+. I had a chuckle when I looked at the fee arrears posting in the lobby. One Italian owner owes about 600,000B. Maybe he'll have a fire sale. BTW, be careful when walking by as they're painting the exterior and paint drops are falling everywhere.

I've got a unit available for rent. Off Ratch-U-Tit with AC, Balcony, Swimming Pool. 17,000B by the month for the high season. Lower after the high months. Contact via PM if interested.
