Finally some news of the 2007 European Union Film Festival.

Went last year and it was terrific. Pick up a schedule and make a plan. Most movies are shown several times.

John is right, get out and support it. More than once there were only 3 or 4 in the audience. We are lucky they have chosen to return.

FYI don't forget to check out opening night. There was a soiree with food and drink.

See all of you there at one showing or another.

Would love to see every single film... I'm assuming that the films are generally the original language soundtrack, and then subtitled... so are they subtitled in Thai and English... only Thai... only English, or what?

Haven't attend the event in the past but sure the films are in original language with English subtitles. Closer to Festival dates

you can contact theater. JOHN

:D We attended a couple of the films." Murmuring Coast"- Portuguese film which was good cinema but

a heavy watch. (it plays again Friday Nov. 16-17:00) "Red Squirrel"-Spanish film that was entertainingly

quirky but tried too hard to be "good cinema". (it doesn't play again). Both of these showings were very well attended.

They are only charging 70 baht-at the Bangkok Film Festival last week they charged 100 baht for the same films.

Hopefully they'll continue to get a good response.

Would recommend "Little Secrets"-Luxembourg film which we caught at Bangkok Festival-plays Sunday 11th

at 19:00 and Wednesday 14th at 17:00. A couple of other really good films that were in the Bangkok version of

this festival must have missed the train as they aren't playing here, but you didn't need to know that. :o
