Working And Wages In Ban Pong

Featured Replies

Hi, Everyone

Does anybody know roughly how much the locals earn a week in wages for jobs like

Factory worker, waitress or a super market worker or any other jobs like this

thanks andy

Wages for those workers in Thailand will not be very high.

Some waitresses - depending on age - start on 4,000 Baht a month and rise to 6,000 a month after a few months. They can - as far as I am aware earn up to 8,000 or so a month but often rely on tips to top up their wages.

Factory workers - no real idea but they will not be on a big wage either.

Supermarkets - depends if they are working on a till or are a supervisor but I cannot see wages will not be that much different from a waitress.

Girls who work in some pubs / bars who wear Tiger Beer dresses etc will also start on a low wage and then earn more after proving themselves. These girls also get a few baht for every xxx amount of beers they sell but it never amounts to much.

HTH and see if anyone has other wage lists.

Factory Wages in Ban Pong not very good my Wifes sister gets on average 4 to 5k baht a month for 6 days a week. She does get a bit more with OT but then your talking about a 10 to 12 hour shift.
