toopeekaa 1 Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 Does anyone out there have first hand knowledge of the maximun time period for any Thai Visa ??? i e for the US is is not unusual to have a visa term of 10 Years.
lopburi3 Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 One year is about it for non immigrant visa for general issue. There are probably longer types for official/diplomatic type use but you can search for that yourself.
george Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 Maximum utilize time for a normal Thai visa is 12 months (Multiple netry Non-Immigrant visa). Maximumim stay is 90 days entry. The NON-OA (Retirement pre-approved visa) is valid for one year and Don Muang normally gives you one year on arrival). The NON-BA (Business pre-approved), I don't know the exact details. There is also a 3 year APEC visa, and there is a Thailand Elite Card with a validity of 5 years. Both the APEC and Elite visa holders are given a 90 days entry into the Kingdom each entry.
toopeekaa 1 Posted August 8, 2004 Author Posted August 8, 2004 I think the NON-BA [pre approved business] in the visa someone mentioned to me..... where can I search out the details of this type of visa ? I was told that it is good for 3 years. By check out I mean in English of course many thanks
toopeekaa 1 Posted August 8, 2004 Author Posted August 8, 2004 "Ash here, you will get a correct answer Thai Immigration" Thank you kind person, I have already done as you suggested and have received 6 correct answers.... so i thankkk youuussse verry musccch I am trying to determine if the NON - BA is one that is only available in your home country, or if it would be obtainable in a nearby country. In two local [nearby country Embassys they indicated that they did not issue any visas for longer than one year.... I thought that perhaps this was one of the situations that may only be available with BOI status Again serious thanks
