We'll all be in Bangkok on Saturday and need a pub / bar to watch the Merseyside Derby in case the hotel has no sports channel. Can anyone recommend a place that will be OK to take the missus and child. We'll be staying opposite Fortune City but anywhere will do, maybe around Sukhumvit?

Depends on the age of the child. Personally I wouldn't take mine into a pub while a football match was on (or a rugby one for that matter). Adults go to pubs to socialise with their own age group, i find children annoying when I am trying to relax (and I have two)!

You could always do the English thing of standing outside a telly shop and watching thrhough the window, or the Thai one of watching inside a telly shop

Know any telly shops in Bangkok that will be showing the match then?
