Retirement Visa

Getting close to the time to go for my first retirement visa renewal and since I live a fair distance from the nearest immigration office I would like to know beforehand if the renewal process is exactly the same as the original process i.e.

a) Appropriate immigration form

Bank letter for > 800,000

c) Bank book

d) Medical certificate

e) passport photos

f) various photocopies of the above

Are ALL of these items above required at time of renewal ?

If you go to Bangkok Suan Plu .....

There is a copy service on first floor; 1 Baht / page

Photo shops right across the street; 100Baht / 4 photos

I have heard that on a renewal of a 1 yr retirement extension

the bank letter need not show the funds came from overseas

as is required on the first application.

Bring tea money in case a snag develops.

Do you do your 90 day reporting by mail and put the

return slip in your passport ??
