can anyone tell me how long it takes to get a visa for the uk? from the day you send off all the forms etc ? when i picked up the application form at the consul in chiangmai, they told me provided i had all the correct paper work it was all done the sqame day.....im a bit dubious about that,

The application has to be made in person. They say if no interview is needed it should take 3-5 days. All information here.
