Is anyone using Slingblade here and if so, does it actually work? I imagine that with the 'hi-speed' Internet here, you couldn't possibly get a proper streaming picture and audio. But would be quite interested if you could.

I think you meant SlingBox.

I have not used SlingBox but there was a thread here a few months back. Someone was having some success with it here and was giving free sample views. Do a search for SlingBox in this forum and you should find it.

I am currently working on setting up a free alternative to SlingBox via Orb. My brother in the US just ordered a Hauppauge TV Tuner card and I hope to be watching stateside TV here in a few days -- barring any difficulties. It remains to be seen.

My next question. Would it be illegal to set up a Sling Box at home and then charge users around the world for access?
