It's interesting to see that after 4/5 years the Chang Puak underpass is finallly completed, so on a similar note ... does anyone know whatever happened to the proposed burying of telephone/electric cales on Tapae and Changklan roads? I know they spent a long time digging up the Tapae Road in particular and sent in imported boring machines with computer-controlled guidance systems, but once that was completed and the road was finally re-surfaced nothing else happened. it has been well over a year since then , so what was it all for? I know the residents of Tapae weren't too impressed with the constant night-time noise over a very long time. Was it all for nothing I wonder?

Just wait till they start digging, to find out where the imported boring machines got to, they're probably halfway to the border by now ! :o PS just kidding ! :D

Since they are now relaying pavements & the Tha-Pae Gate area, the next step is obvious, just wait for the next budget-year, and they will start to dig it all up again, for water-pipes or something ! :D
