Cannot View Webcams.

Featured Replies

Hi.

Yesterday I upgraded to Internet Explorer 7. When I logged in I was prompted that my security options should be reset. I responded Ok. When I went to view some live webcams Noi's beer bar or Rockhouse, I see ready displayed at the bottom window and a blank screen.

I vaguely remember I changed something in the past within the internet options (In the advance button maybe) to view live webcams, but now I can't remember.

Does anyone have an Idea what needs to be set-on or off to view these webcams?

Is it something to do with the Applet?

Thanks.

Tom.

If the security settings are too high then it will disable ActiveX which is a common control for web cams. I don't use IE7 so not sure where to check for enabling ActiveX.

Click on Tools >Internet Options >Advanced Tab there you can set the controls!

I can see the controls. What options should I change to view cam streams?

Thanks.

As Tywais suggested you need to enable ActiveX and Java as well!

I've been prompted to upgrade to IE7, but I'm not sure whether it's OK or not, and seem to remember reading something here, (apart from the OP's issue). Can anyone advise whether it's worth the upgrade? Thanks.
