Isn’t Christmas in Chiangmai wonderful?

I hear from back home (UK) that the usual Christmas madness is rampant…dog eat dog, the expense, the frantic shopping, the weather, the wrapping, who is cooking dinner this year, who’s going to whom etc etc.

Here in Chiangmai it’s Christmassy if you want it, we have choices of restaurants serving up big plates of food, shopping isn’t a hassle, the weather is great, just purchase your gifts and let someone else wrap them.

I personally don’t feel I’m missing anything back home and I don’t even have to bother about pleasing the relatives either.
