Who does the best tattoos in Thailand?

If you know who and where please let me know

Cheers

I have had two large tattoos (one 7 hour and one 25 hour) done by Nu at Diamond Tattoo in Seacon Square. He specialises in Dragons and Japanese style stuff. He has won many prizes. The quality is superb and he never does the same tattoo twice. He will do you a drawing and if you have the work done he signs it and thats it, never again.

Search tattoo on thaivisa for a picture of the stomach one if you wish.

Not everyones cup of tea but I love them!!

thats a very hard question to answer as is a very individual thing..like asking who tells the biggest lies in pattaya :o

anyways i live in pattaya and there are many tattooists here...some good some very bad....if someone has a tattoo and they are very happy then they would say they had the best tattooist....i can only go thru my experience and what friends have told me and what ive see.ive heard a guy called martin is goodi think he operates from some sort of bus in north pattaya....seen some of his black tribal work and is very good and very black..original designs for the individual.tiger tattoo has a good reputation ,studio in soi 7 and in best friend beer bar complex on beach road.i have had some done at the beach rd place and have been very happy but as i said there are literally hundreds here so hope some others give there opinions.

also some tattooists are better at certain types of tattoos...some can do freehand some cant and also i would like a good tattooist to do a portrait type picture .

why do you ask this question .rob

THere is a new guy in Khon Kaen his work is Good enough for Beckham so you be the judge.

His name is Chris not far from the Kosa Hotel :o

That looks good!

I got my first tattoo at 14 - very old school and only wear short sleeves now except on holiday and miost of my colleagues in the corporate world do not know.

Recently I have been thinking though of filling in the blank space on the inside of my right forearm and your's is the style I would want if I go for it!

Must be my mid-life crisis 30 odd years after the first ;-)

If you do not mind guessing what is the cost for something like a inside forearm dragon now?

PS: my first tattoo was 1 GBP and the most expensive 19 GBP 5 years later (how times have changed)

iIhad a tattoo done on my old fella, it was a chicken drumstick ,, it was for all the catholic girls that didnt eat red meat on friday .

I never understood the fascination with getting tattoos

Me too Beavis, I think it's a vanity thing. The mark of an extrovert perhaps?

The mind boggles :o

There is no need for one to understand.

It's personal preference.

Some people like Chocolate, some people like Vanilla.

Some people prefer coffee; others prefer tea.

Some people prefer tatts, some people don't.

My brother died 3 weeks agao so I'm having one of his tattoos done in his honor. I'm looking to get a Kanji (japanese text) symbol done but with my bro's one it looked like had been done witha brush not a needle.......no hard outline......I've not seen it on anyone else so I'm guessing the artist was pretty special.

Thanks for your advise

I worry for some of the people that they're getting it as a fashion item, but its permanent.

As if everyone who was in their teens and twenties and wore flares in the 1970s was forced to wear flares for the rest of their lives.

13 Crowns in Pattaya is quite good, been around for ages and great detail. Got my hieroglyphs done there, the detail was outstanding.

You mean David Beckham? The football player?

If yes, I hope you dont mean the one Beckham has on his neck. That one looks like one of his kids made it. Or maybe his multi talented wife.

Yes David Beckham and what particular one I did not ask it may well be the one on his neck or the one on his ? I am sure Chris would be happy to tell you.

Of course, the work itself is probably professionally done. Just the choice of tattoo, size, and place.

I thought about getting a tattoo; but then realized....why mess with perfection?

Prospective employers don't either.

But hey ! ... The Aussie Army has recently said it will start taking tattoo'd recruits.

Guess few people want to be warrior's anymore.
