Bangkok to pattaya

Featured Replies

Hi All

Can anyone provide info on the frequency and travel times of trains and buses (Mor Chit ??) from Bangkok to Pattaya ?

T.I.A

Dan.

The buses leave every 30 mins. Cost around 100 baht. Very comfortable. Takes 2 - 2-1/2 hours. You can get the skytrain to the Eastern Bus Station  or pay about 100 baht for a taxi from Sukumvit soi 4. Its best to get the coach back to Morchit if you are going direct to the airport. Cost 97 baht, then get a cab to airport - about 100 baht.
There is 30 minute bus service from both the Eastern and Northern (Ekami and Morchit II) bus stations and three times a day direct from the airport.  Train service is poor and only once or twice a day I believe.  It is also easy to get a taxi for this trip if you can afford US$20-30.
