You can call Thai Customs to get the duty rate. There is also a guide from APEC here: http://www.apectariff.org/ . You will need to join but membership is free. It takes a bit of practice to use the APEC guide but it is not that difficult to use. Duty is assessed on Cost+insurance+shipping (CIS). After assessing duty add it back to the total and take 7% for VAT and add that back. That will be your final cost. I have not imported studio lighting but I have imported flashes. As I recall for camera flashes the rate was 5%. I know it is definitely 5% for lenses and cameras.
