My Daughter's Uk Passport Has Expired But ...

My 8 year old daughter's UK passport has expired but I cannot renew it in the UK (because she lives in Thailand) Does anyone know what I have to do to get it renewed in Thailand. She was born in the UK, has UK & Thai Birth certificate and Thai passport.

I would appreciate any help with this and time scale required.

Go to the British Embassy in Bangkok and fill in an application form, take the old passport and 2 photos.

Not sure on timescale but i think with the new style passports it is between 7 and 10 working days.

No appointment needed, just go to the consular section in the embassy, check the embassy website for current prices, passports more expensive at the embassy than back in the uk.

Also pay an extra 20 baht (may have gone up) and they will EMS the passport to you anywhere in Thailand so you don't have to go back and pick it up yourself.
