Does anyone know of any websites offering discounted hotel and flight packages for Bangkok? I'd be flying in from Chiang Mai. I know it's already cheap, but I thought I could see if anyone is offering some kind of package deal before I book separately.

I have found the best prices for flights are checking out all the individual airline websites. For rooms (especially last minute) try www.asiarooms.com

It's funny on the websites of the budget airlines you'll find that taxes and surcharges equal 150% of the 'price' of the ticket. Anyone else know of any package deals?

Your best bet would be to book the hotel and flight separately, as domestic tickets are never discounted. A travel agent might make 50 baht for booking the domestic flight so obviously they won't discount.

Book the domestic flight through the airline - then go find the type of hotel you want at any one of a number of online sites or any local travel agent.
