Just a note to remind members that foreigners are not permitted, under Thai Law, to own land in their own names.

The maximum lease period is 30 years.

The lease is given with 30 years + an option for renewal for another 30. If both parties agree, this lease period can be extended. Foreigners can buy via a holding company or through their Thai Partner or course, however if you need more details on owning land in Thailand, you are advised to check the forum for details.
