Can anyone recommend a good place to get passport photo's done in Bangkok? Do they have those photo-booth machines like those in the UK? I remember seeing some kind of photo booth in the Big C in Khon Kaen, but it didn't look like the ones in the UK. I'll be staying in the Hotel Asia, so anywhere in that area, or in MBK would be handy.

CharlieB I wouldn't trust to passport booth especially in Thailand, Get it done properly remember each country has different requirements for the photo ie the background colour. Take a copy of the requirements with you, and show it to the photographer. Best do it right the first time as a rejection of the photo would be a waste of time.

Thanks for the suggestion of the Visa centre, hadn't considered that, but if I'm right, I need pictures of the Mrs before we get her TB check. I'd rather get pictures done before I get to the Visa centre for two main reasons, I need photo's for the Mrs to take to the IOM for the TB check and I need pictures of my nipper to get her passport and I'm probably right in thinking that the visa centre is going to be pretty busy. I'd rather get everything else done and then go there to hand in all the info, rather than go there have pictures taken and then have to go away again to do the other things and then return. I'm going to be running round like a blue-arsed fly with Mrs and baby in tow as it is and I would prefer to do as many trips as possible due to the baby only being 5 months old.

Did you mean "prefer to do as fewer trips as possible"? Taking an acceptable baby's photo may be difficult.

LOL Yeah, got messed up in the editing process! :o Yeah, I think they are slightly more lenient with baby photos as they understand you can't tell a 5 month old baby to sit still and look at the camera! :D
